節目簡介

《回家》

第一次聽到巴奈的〈也許有一天〉,在北海道冰天雪地中,人聲沸騰的溫暖禮堂。這是巴奈寫給那布的歌,他正在台灣收不到訊息的深山,背著沈重裝備,一步一步用心踩踏,試著拼湊布農族耆老們記憶中的內本鹿天堂,那從1941年被日本政府脅迫離開的祖先應允之地。巴奈的歌聲美好而痛楚:「讓風吹著你的長髮,讓眼淚盡情流下,回家吧,回家......」,台下微醺的我,無法自拔地淚決堤,想像和感動排山倒海。

就這樣,我開始找自己回家的路,開始創作過程裡與自己、與他人的不斷衝突。

啊!生活是一張網,家是無形有形的枷鎖,但是愛存在。在訪談錄音裡,從四面八方來到這片土地的人,快樂地陳述自己,充滿希望,可是我卻迷路了。我只想單純舞動,卻陷入五斗米的物質世界,在給予及獲得之間流失一點一點自由。我的創作,無疑只是抒發在美好的背後,苟延殘喘的那一個真我。

跳自在的舞是我夢想中的天堂,生命的烏托邦,而心是唯一回家的路,在相信、希望、愛之後,即使我知道回到心靈原鄉是如此漫長。

就像那布寫道:前路尚遠,只要繼續走,那就已在回家的路上了。

 

《Dimmer》

暗的光,不清楚的人,只有不斷的調節,才有平衡的一天。尋找一個方向,於是光開始變亮… 編舞家暨演出者 / 陳武康 高雄人,12歲開始習舞,保送進入國立藝術專科學校舞蹈科 ( 現為台灣藝術大學 ) 。

1999年獲得了「舞躍大地」舞蹈創作比賽金牌獎。同年獲得國家文化藝術基金會獎助赴紐約進修,同年加入 Feld's Ballet Tech,並於隔年成為獨舞者,也開始了與 Feld 先生的長期合作關係。2003年開始半年於紐約跳舞,半年於台灣編舞創作的工作方式,試圖尋找自己的聲音。一直到2004年,和一群志同道合的舞蹈愛好者共同創立純男子舞團「驫舞劇場」,一個以共同創作、彼此互相激發創意的舞團。

編舞家暨演出者 / 葉名樺

高雄人,l0歲開始習舞,國立臺北藝術大學舞蹈學院七年一貫制畢業。

曾加入紐約 Thomas Ortiz Dance Company ,高雄城市芭蕾舞團,台北室內芭蕾舞團。在大學間嘗試了第一次的編舞,現在看起來會有一些些害羞的舞。第二次作品送影像參加「舞躍大地」徵選,落敗。第三次編舞感謝大家的厚愛和給予機會,路程是充滿樂趣和驚喜,卻也是煎熬和壓力。像生孩子般,終於落下一枚。

 

《收驚》

台北行天宮裡「收驚」這項宗教文化活動,據說已經是一種全民運動了。平常日有近千人次參與,假日更有高達數萬人次以上! 收驚對我來說,是一種很生活化,自然的文化認同感。台灣在東西文化夾雜中長成的,那種很特別的中西文化融合後所產生出延續與傳承的力量,將是我們所要探求的。

編舞家暨演出者 / 孫梲泰

19歲開始學習舞蹈,1999年國立藝術學院舞蹈系畢業。

2006年7月成立8213肢體舞蹈劇場,現擔任藝術總監暨編舞者,4年職業舞者生涯、2年獨立編舞家與2年舞團巡演經驗。曾獲文建會、台北市文化局贊助赴美法駐村研習。在舞蹈創作上擅長結合東西方文化差異以不同觀點切入運用不同形式呈現。

自組的8213舞團曾連續兩年 ( 2006、2007 ) 獲邀參加台北藝術節演出。

 

《喧嘩》

"喧嘩"不單是這個多元族群的小島上常發生的有趣現象,它也是網路上、電視裡、年輕世代愛於且勇於發言的步調,它更常是我內心的獨白,腦袋裡的錯亂思緒。

編舞家 / 林向秀

傑出中生代舞蹈家,國立台灣藝術學院舞蹈系畢業,美國加州聖荷西州立大學表演藝術碩士。為首位進入美國知名荷西‧李蒙現代舞團之東方舞者。曾獲文建會優秀人才出國獎學金,加州聖荷西大學榮譽畢業生,高雄市文藝獎,國立臺灣藝術學院傑出校友人物,個人創作作品發表於國內外許多舞蹈團演出,包括荷西‧李蒙舞團、美國漢雲舞集、聖荷西州大舞團、三十舞蹈劇場、高雄城市芭蕾舞團等。2003年成立林向秀舞團,每年皆推出新舞作,自2003年《林家花園》、2004年《身體戰爭》、2005年《混、東西》、2006年《信不信由你》、2007年《傾斜》、與2008年《光的另一邊》,期間與不同藝術家合作,創作能量豐沛。

並曾入選「新點子舞展」女編舞組及擔任兩廳院二十週年慶【舞蹈雙重奏】編舞家。現任教於國立台灣藝術大學舞蹈系、光環舞集、雲門舞集舞團、及美國瑜珈協會認證 Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga 專業瑜珈老師。

 

Coming Home

I first heard the notes of Taiwanese aboriginal singer Panai's Perhaps One Day in a warm and crowded church located Hokkaido during the icy cold winter. It was a song dedicated to her loved one, Nabu, who was somewhere deep in the mountains of Taiwan seeking for the promised land of the Bunun Tribe-his joumey of seeking what once belonged to their people, yet was taken away by the Japanese colonialist in 1941. The lyrics moved me to tears as I heard Panai pour her heart into the words, ""Let the wind comb through your hair and the tears wash down your face; let's head home, head home......""

 

With those lyrics in mind, I decided to find my road back home. For many years I traveled away from home and tried to find my utopia of dance, a place where I could find hope and happiness. However, bit by bit, I have found myself struggling in the world of reality and losing myself to the values of the society. Yet, no more-home is where one's heart is, as Panai's lyrics sang, I know I shall find my way back home.

 

Dimmer

Dimming light and blurring men...balance can be reached only when you adjust. Find a direction, and light starts to appear in the distance.

 

Wu-Kang Chen, choreographer & dancer

Learning dance at the age of 12, Wu-Kang Chen was later recommended to the College of Dance of National Taiwan University of Arts. In 2001, Chen earned fellowship from National Culture and Arts Foundation to pursue further education in New York. Chen became an independent dancer and a long companion with Feld's Ballet Tech the next year. From 2003, Chen started to spend half of his year in New York dancing and the other half in Taiwan choreographing, trying to voice himself. Not until 2004 did he found Horse with a group of male dancers to inspire and create together.

 

Ming-Hwa Yeh, choreographer & dancer

Learning dancing at the age of 10, Ming-Hwa Yeh tried her first choreography during university-a dance which now would probably embarrass her. Yeh had sent her second work to competitions but failed, and her choreography was not favored until her third attempt. Yeh describes the experience of choreographing as giving birth to children, which is full of fun and surprises but also with torture and pressure.

 

Sho-Jing

It has become a popular culture for people to go to Xing Tian Temple and have a ""sho-jing."" At first ""sho-jing"" was a tradition of purifying souls of terrified children by a charm, but now thousands of people join in this activity to spend their leisure time on weekdays and ten times more people attend on holidays. For me, sho-jing means a natural identification with culture.

 

Shouting

Internet, television, and opinionated youth. The monologues in my heart. The chaos of my mind. All of this comes from a rich diversity of culture in Taiwan, and all of it: shouting!

 

Hsiang-Hsiu Lin, choreographer

As the first Asian dancer to ever enter the famous Jose Limon Dance Company, Lin is a brilliant dancer who studied dance at the National Taiwan College of Arts and performance arts at California’s San Jose University. From San Jose to Kaohsiung, Lin has won various awards, and has performed with numerous dance companies in Taiwan and abroad. In 2003, Lin founded the Hsiang-Hsiu Lin Dance Company, and since then the company has produced new pieces every year. From Secret Garden of 2003 to The Other Side of Darkness in 2008, She has worked with various artists, and has displayed an energetic flow of creativity in her choreography. Lin currently teaches at her alma mater the National Taiwan University of Arts, Taipei Dance Circle, Cloud Gate, and is also a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga instructor.
