In terms of chamber music concerts, where there is no conductor, the quality of music largely depends on the tacit understanding the musicians have gained through daily practices. Focusing on teamwork, playing chamber music is like playing sports. In this lecture concert, NSO members' excellent skills are accompanied by Dr. Chu-Wey Liu's detailed discussion about the important figures of Classical Period such as Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. This concert involves an intimate conversation between now and then, through which you will discover that classical music 1 not about rigor and order. Instead, it is like a magic ball that can surprise you at any moment.
