關於此劇
以色列最富盛名兩大劇院哈比馬國家劇院、卡梅里劇院攜手合作，重新詮釋膾炙人口的希臘悲劇《安蒂岡妮》，被喻為古典戲劇奇蹟之作。全劇穿越現在與永恆的時空，糾葛於愛情倫常、權利國法間，融合希臘的古典、流行與世界音樂，充滿原創性、含意深遠且令人著迷，帶領觀眾返回經典悲劇的單純與力量中，更經歷一次難得的文化洗禮。
《安蒂岡妮》敘述伊底帕斯王逝後，兩個兒子提厄特俄克勒斯、波呂尼克斯爭奪王位而雙雙戰死，由克里昂繼任底比斯王位，風光下葬提厄特俄克勒斯，但讓波呂尼克斯暴屍野外，並下令一律不許治喪。安蒂岡妮不顧禁令，埋葬其兄長波呂尼克斯，被逮捕後判處死刑。克里昂之子希門與安蒂岡妮已訂婚約，克里昂仍然不顧兒子的勸戒求情，執意處死安蒂岡妮。希門聞訊後萬念俱灰，自殺殉情，而皇后尤瑞迪息得知愛子凶耗後，悲慟不已而自殺，克里昂此時悔之晚矣。
About the Play A joint effort between Habimah National Theatre of Israel and Cameri Theatre of Tel Aviv, Antigone is described as a miracle of classical theater. The story involves the tension of love, power and legal system of the country, combining Greek classics and popular music, it is a truly innovative production and absolutely fascinating. You are about to experience the simplicity and energy of classical tragedy, just like an adventure of cultures. Antigone is about the sons of Oedipus, Eteocles and Polynices, both died fighting for the throne. Then Creon accede to the kingship, he buried Eteocles with a fancy funeral yet left the body of Polynices in the wilderness. He also ordered that no one is allowed to mourn for Polynices. Antigone disregarded the order and buried her brother Polynices. She was arrested for this and sentenced to death. The son of Creon, Haemon, who was engaged to Antigone, asked mercy for Antigone with no success. Haemon killed himself, hoping to die with Antigone. The queen Eurydice learned the death of Haemon and commited suicide. Creon regrets for his decision but it was too late.
