羅德芭蕾舞團28年淬鍊，推出經典全本芭蕾舞劇《吉賽兒》，浪漫派芭蕾的代表之一，白色芭蕾美學的極致呈現。講述關於吉賽兒的愛情、背叛與救贖的永恆故事。
1841年芭蕾舞劇《吉賽兒》在法國歌劇院首演，是十九世紀浪漫派芭蕾的極致代表。第一幕故事講述了一個名為吉賽兒的年輕女子與一位貴族男子阿爾伯特的愛情故事。然而吉賽兒卻發現阿爾伯特原來是已婚的貴族，她的心靈受到了極大的傷害，最終因憂傷過度而死。第二幕描述她死後幽靈回歸，與其他死去的女子們一起報復男子們的故事。
"Giselle" is a romantic ballet that premiered in Paris in 1841, with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot. The story takes place in the Rhineland, Germany, in the Middle Ages.The ballet begins with a scene in which a group of young women, including the beautiful peasant girl Giselle, are dancing and celebrating the grape harvest. Giselle is courted by a handsome young man named Loys, who is actually the disguised Duke Albrecht. Giselle falls in love with Loys, not knowing that he is already engaged to another woman.Meanwhile, a hunting party arrives in the village, including Hilarion, a gamekeeper who is in love with Giselle. Hilarion is suspicious of Loys and reveals his true identity to Giselle, causing her to become distraught and fall into a fit of madness. When she discovers that Loys is engaged to someone else, she loses her mind and dies of a broken heart.In the second act, Giselle has become a spirit of the forest, called a "Wili." The Wilis are the ghosts of young girls who died before their wedding day, and they seek revenge on any man who enters their domain. Hilarion comes to Giselle's grave to mourn her, but the Wilis appear and force him to dance until he dies of exhaustion.Next, Albrecht arrives at Giselle's grave to pay his respects. The Wilis try to force him to dance to his death, but Giselle intervenes and dances with him until dawn, when the Wilis lose their power. Giselle must return to her grave, but she forgives Albrecht and protects him from the vengeance of the Wilis.The ballet ends with Albrecht mourning Giselle's death, while the Wilis disappear into the mist. "Giselle" is a timeless story of love, betrayal, and redemption, and it remains one of the most beloved classical ballets of all time.
