優人神鼓《與你共舞》

《與你共舞》作品之名，來自優人神鼓音樂總監黃誌群2001年第四度造訪佛陀故鄉的旅程結束前，有感而發提筆寫下的詩作尾句：「翻身迴轉，天地『與你共舞』」。這趟流浪般的旅程中，黃誌群文思泉湧，嘈雜街頭、恆河河畔、擁擠火車以及落腳小屋前的水田，鸛鳥、托缽僧、盲眼吹笛人……都成了的靈感，詩句自然而生。這些文字被小心保存，成為《與你共舞》的靈感，進而將詩入舞、入樂，落為篇章。《與你共舞》保有著優人原有「鼓、樂、舞、武、戲」的獨特藝術特長，融入拳術以及內化中亞古老神秘的「神聖舞蹈」，以「旅程」為作品概念架構，在扣人心弦又直指人心的樂曲串連下，交織成謳歌生命歷程的音樂肢體劇場詩境。
River Journey is inspired by HUANG Chih-chun's fourth trip to India, birth place of the Buddah, in 2001. During this journey, Huang, an actor, drumming Master, composer, choreographer, and Music Director of U-Theatre, wrote many poets, letters to his wife and children and to U-Theatre's members. His many observations –whether on the streets, down by the river, on the crowded train, or even the field in front of a rustic lodge –formed the basis for reflections on the psat and future creations. Little by little, these words come to form the core of the poetic River Journey.
