藝像台灣：葉明和單簧管獨奏會

為讚揚原鄉的創造力，兩廳院自2008年起將舉辦【藝像台灣】系列，邀請不同領域的本國藝術家以台灣意象或台灣經驗為創作根源，編創新作或重現舊作。

今年先以「經典」破題，帶領觀眾親身參與經典時刻：國家文藝獎作家黃春明首次於其兒童劇《稻草人與小麻雀》中領銜演出；《黃虎印》首次將台灣國的故事搬上戲劇院：台南人劇團與歡喜扮戲團將分別改編林搏秋經典劇本《閹雞》及《高砂館》，另外多位舞蹈界大師將帶領觀眾重溫其創作生涯早期的作品，以經典作品作為展望未來的根基。

此外還有琳琅滿目的新作，屏風表演班的《瘋狂年代》、優劇團的《空林山風》、雲門舞集的《花語》，以及國光劇團的經典思維京劇《閻羅夢》，將展現重暈級團隊在台灣表演藝術累積的厚實能量。另外【藝像台灣】已甄選八組舞蹈創新作品，將組合演出兩檔節目；而【台灣獨奏家系列】將邀請六組國內優秀青年作曲家與獨奏家搭配發表新曲，積極地培育音樂界與舞蹈界的台灣之光。

關懷土地、玩味歷史、體現禪思、實驗創新，【藝像台灣】系列各個作品所綻放的縷縷光芒，將輝映出一幅繽紛的台灣藝術圖像。

In praise of the creative abilities of the domestic artists, the NTCH will host the “Art Images, Taiwan” series from 2008 onwards. We will invite the domestic artists who work in different fields to display their new/renewal productions that are based on the images related to their impressions of Taiwan.

The kickoff of this series includes the programs basing on the classics. It is composed of Chun-Ming Hwang’s play for the children, Strawmen & Sparrows, which features Chun-Ming Hwang himself. Followed are Huang Hu In, a story about Taiwan as a country; Castrated Chicken and Gao Sha Guen, both adapted from Tuan-Chiu Lin’s masterpieces with the same titles will be staged by Tainaner Ensemble and Uhan Shii Theatre Group respectively; along with some early works from the prestigious choreographers.

As for the new productions, the well-known troupes are invited to display their major works, including Mad in Taiwan by Ping Fong Acting Troupe, The Walk by U Theatre, Whispers of Flower by Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, and Journey through Hell by the National Guo Guang Opera Company. On the other hand, we have made the decision to host eight new pieces of the dance to perform in two programs. Another sub-branch, named the “Soloists of Taiwan,” is planned to invite six pairs of the domestic talented young composers with soloists to perform in the concerts. We sincerely hope, the glory of Taiwan will shine in the world through our efforts.

The “ Art Images, Taiwan” series is dedicated to Taiwan, our homeland with the anticipation that the development and accomplishment of the domestic arts will illuminate in each program we host.
