風雅 - 兩廳院歡慶二十 1987年，一個讓台灣人不能忘記的年代。

沸騰的股市，將經濟發展衝到最高點；戒嚴令的解除，將政治發展推向民主大道，自由的空氣，伴隨富而好禮的人心想望，宣告台灣「文藝復興」時代即將來臨。在這個不凡的年代，國家音樂廳和國家戲劇院隆重開啟大幕，它積聚了藝文創作者與愛好者長年殷殷的期待於一身，一步一腳印，承擔起引領台灣邁向風雅年代的莊嚴任務。

二十年來，兩廳院與台灣表演藝術工作者們攜手努力，在社會經濟甚至國際大環境不斷變化下，共同創造了台灣今天精采多元的表演藝術舞台。數百萬觀眾與兩廳院一起，見證台灣表演藝術起飛最豐饒的時代記憶。

舞台上，雲門舞集在這裡復出，演出他們二十、三十週年的公演，雙十國慶時，歌仔戲國寶楊麗花復出舞台的迷人丰采，讓人難忘；賴聲川導演的《如夢之夢》第一次將觀眾席搬上戲劇院舞台，七小時的演出長度創下國內劇場紀錄；漢唐樂府的《洛神賦》是兩廳院第一個跨國製作，自去年五月首演後，十月起於法國里昂等城市十二場的巡演，不但提高兩廳院的知名度，也打開國內表演藝術團體在國際的市場。「廣場藝術節」更是兩廳院第一次大型戶外藝術節，將精緻藝術和全民共享。

如今，兩廳院二十歲了，為了這個珍貴的成年禮，我們將以最虔誠感謝的心情，與您一起歡慶。自三月起，連續十個月的「二十週年歡慶系列」節目，費時兩年，廣邀國際重量級大師與國內超過三十個表演團隊，策劃【經典二十】、【藝術活力膠囊】兩大系列的節目，以近百場精采演出為「成年」留下榮耀的紀錄。

【藝術活力膠囊】系列，讓國人回顧二十年來國內傑出表演團隊最動人的藝術，以及所創造出繁花似錦的媚人風貌，展現台灣表演藝術生生不息的豐沛活力。在經典與創新並重的節目規劃中，觀眾將可重溫經典、發現創新，就如服用一顆時空精華般的「藝術活力膠囊」在一千多位藝術家輪番上陣、精華盡釋後，快速補充您曾經缺席的、您最難忘的、您最想再看一回的精采表演片段，迅速蓄積身心靈的藝術能量。

【藝術活力膠囊】規劃了音樂、舞蹈、戲劇、戲曲四大領域的節目，首先登場的戲曲活力膠囊，以【名角京彩匯演】為主題，精選台灣京劇名家，他們是上一代的偶像、這一代的傳奇，其黃金陣容，是老戲迷、新觀眾都不容錯過的經典劇碼。音樂活力膠囊部分，將以【唱遊人聲】、【東方傳奇，搖滾國樂】、【美麗驚嘆‧室內樂曼波】三大展演主軸，共同見證台灣樂壇二十年耀眼國際的蓬勃發展。舞蹈活力膠囊則讓國內最頂尖的舞蹈家齊聚一堂，以【舞蹈雙重奏，生日快樂】、【雙十年華，舞蹈彩匯】的方式，帶來最讓人動容的傑出舞碼，為兩廳院慶生。作為壓軸的戲劇活力膠囊，邀請四位中生代導演共同執導《看不見的城市》以文學原著的奇想為基礎，展現意象紛陳的劇場美學。

展望未來，兩廳院不但要讓國人看到來自世界最好的表演，也要讓台灣表演藝術的成就在全世界發光，將值得台灣人驕傲的文化品牌推上國際舞台，讓世界為台灣豐沛的表演藝術創造力而驚嘆！

Elegance-The Celebration of 20th Anniversary of National Theater and Concert Hall Nineteen eighty-seven is a year that Taiwanese cannot forget. The crazy bullish stock market boosted the economic development to a historical high. The ending of martial law drove Taiwan to democracy. Liberalization and richness accompanied with further human desire announced the arrival of the renaissance age of Taiwan. In that unique age, the National Theater and Concert Hall(“NTCH”), gathered long expectations from both performing artists and audiences, opened its curtain and undertook the mission to lead Taiwan to the age of elegance step by step. For twenty years, the NTCH have co-worked with performing and have created the most outstanding stage of performing arts together despite the change of economy and international surroundings. Several millions of audiences, together with the NTCH, witnessed the taking off of performing arts and shared the most valuable memories of that age. On this stage, the Cloudgate Dance Theatre proudly presented their 20th and 30th anniversary performances. On this stage, the national treasure of Taiwanese opera Li-Hwa Yan’s return performance impressed a full-house audience, and Director Stan Lai moved audience seats onto stage in his play “A Dream Like A Dream” and set the longest performance of seven hours “Luo Shen Fu-the Tale of the Luo River Goddess” by Han Tang Yue Fu is the first international production of the NTCH. Twelve tour performances starting Leon, France since October 2006 not only gained publicity for the NTCH, but also created an international marker for domestic performing art groups. More over,”2006 International Arts Festival” was the first outdoor production by the NTCH. It shared the fine arts with the public people. With the most sincere gratitude, the twenty-year-old NTCH has spent more than two years to prepare “The Classic 20” and “ The Vital Capsule of Art ” series of programs to celebrate with you. Beginning March 2007, the NTCH has invited internationally famous masters plus more than thirty domestic groups to present near one hundred performances for the glory of its coming of age. The performers and troupes who ate active all the past two decades will gather together to present “ The Vital Capsule of Art ” series, which not only lead the audiences to retrospect the best performances held by the best domestic performing troupes in past two decades, but also display some of their new works. The whole series will be an exhibition of domestic artists’ productivity. For those who are absent in past performances, this series is like an offer of the “Vital Capsules”. It builds up your knowledge about the performing arts so promptly. Various programs, which cover the categories of music, dance, theatre, and traditional opera, ate included in “ The Vital Capsule of Art ” series. It was kicked off with “ Joint Chinese Opera Performance in Taiwan ” , and followed by “ The Feast of the Vocal Music ” , “ Oriental Legends ” , “ Meditation of the Chamber Music ” , “ Collection of the Best Dances in the Past Two Decades ” , “ Happy Birthday, Duet Dance Gala ” , and the climax “ INvisible cities ” . All will be the witnesses for the growth of the domestic performing arts. In the future, the NTCH not only will let Taiwanese people see the best performances from all over the world, bur will also let performances that Taiwanese people are proud of could be seen all over the world.
