七十歲的徐伊念在獨居的客廳裡，每天設定著一個「不知道什麼時候會響」的鬧鐘，反覆進行著看似荒謬的「死亡自救練習」。 當兒子品安帶著迎接新生命的喜訊到來，卻對父親近期的反常舉動感到焦慮。 隨著時間推移，記憶像火車般駛回了1986年。 那是伊念與妻子顧琴初遇時如山茶般的悸動、以及與好友們在餐廳裡揮灑青春的黃金歲月。在「現在」與「過去」並置的魔幻時空裡，年輕與年老的靈魂在同一個舞台上對話與共舞 。
Seventy-year-old Xu Yinian lives alone in his living room, setting an alarm clock that "never knows when it will ring," repeatedly engaging in seemingly absurd "death self-rescue exercises." When his son, Pin'an, arrives with the joyous news of a new life, he becomes anxious about his father's recent unusual behavior. As time passes, memories rush back to 1986 like a train. It's the camellia-like flutter of Yinian's first encounter with his wife, Gu Qin, and the golden years of youth spent with friends in a restaurant. In this magical space where "present" and "past" are juxtaposed, young and old souls converse and dance together on the same stage.
