【2022 Taiwan Dance Platform】Body Online, Screendance / Dance Sound Exhibition

疫情下，舞蹈上載，身體上線，穿越無國界的連結
兩年一度的衛武營臺灣舞蹈平台再次啟動，策展人周書毅提出《身體上線》命題，首度對全球展開舞蹈影像作品的徵件，有來自二十多個國家投件，最後將選出十部作品，與邀映作品實體展出。聲音展的部分，邀請五位臺灣音樂創作人，分享他們為舞蹈創作的音樂作品，用聆聽的角度認識舞蹈。靜態攝影展的部分，將帶領觀眾一起回看這兩年在疫情下，仍在衛武營順利上演的舞蹈風景。
在這兩年劇場幾度停擺又重新開啟的時代，身體真實的表演如何傳遞上線，又是如何在真實的世界中，找尋可以釋放的舞臺。影像，改變了身體與表演的關係，創造獨有的語彙。聲音，創作了走入舞蹈的故事。攝影，留存下舞台生命的瞬間。
藉由策展形式融合「舞蹈」、「影像」及「聲音」三大相得益彰的藝術創作元素，透過展場設計與藝術家觀點與角度的詮釋、相互搭配，爬梳身體真實的語言及對話方式。在一道道設計過的展場區域內，是以『身體上線』為概念的體驗式展覽，觀眾遊走在舞蹈影像作品、現場展演與音樂創作的交織，跟著藝術家的思緒，一同重新思索與世界「連結」的方式與意義。
Dance Upload, Body Online, Connection Without Borders in face of COVID-19
The biennial Weiwuying Taiwan Dance Platform is taking place once again. The curator, CHOU Shu-Yi, sets the theme of Body Online, showcasing a collection of dance works to the entire world for the first time. Ten works out of submissions from over 20 countries will be selected and showcased on screen. Five music producers from Taiwan are invited to share the music they created for the dances and demonstrate their understanding of dance as a listener. A photography exhibition will take visitors on a tour of the dance scenes that were successfully performed at Weiwuying in the past two years during the pandemic.
Over the past two years in which the theater has opened and closed several times, we contemplated how the real performance of the body can be delivered in a virtual world and how a dance stage for this performance can be found in the real world. Image changes how the body is related to dance, creating unique vocabularies. Sound sets the story into which the dance walks. Photography forever captures the moment of life on stage.
"Dance," "image," and "sound," the three elements of art creation each complementing one another, are infused curatorially, unraveling the real language and dialogue of the body through a combination of exhibition designs and interpretations from an artist's perspective and point of view. Every thoughtfully designed area in the exhibition showcases immersive exhibitions based on the concept of Body Online. As visitors weave through dance films, live performances, and music creations—each intertwined with the thoughts of their creator, they reflect on the way they "connect" with the world and the meaning behind it.
