繼2006年《琵琶行》之後，藝術大師林懷民指導王心心從人性解讀以南管底韻詮釋《長恨歌》，單挑王心心打破嫻雅婉約的舞台形象，吟唱驚心動魄的帝妃之愛，透過人聲的唸、吟、唱與琵琶的彈、撥、挑，勾勒歷史、作者與觀眾三者的心理距離。盛世王朝的驚天七十二小時，在白居易眼中 一場維安總動員後的啟示詩篇，歷經戰爭與權力之後，愛情安在。
Following the success of the 2006 production of Pipa Xing, artistic geniuses LIN Hwai-min and WANG Xin-xin will be reinterpreting The Song of Everlasting Sorrow from a brand-new perspective. From the picture of prosperity and the epic love story in the beginning, to the drums of the battle and the rebellion of the army at the end, is it a study of human nature in adversity, or a long-winded elegy of love and regret? Through the chanting, humming, and singing of the human voice, and the striking, plucking, and picking of the pipa strings, WANG morphs the psychological distance between history, the author, and the audience.
