《惡之華》是根據著名法國作家波特萊爾的生平及其著作的意象探索。波德萊爾的詩集《惡之華》出版於1857年，被譴責是敗德之作，因為他對於性、死亡與慾望描寫十分深刻。本劇結合了雕塑、繪畫、舞蹈和音樂，這場儀式化的表演將繼續波特萊爾的旅程，深入幽暗的中心，尋找陰影中的微光。
本場跨文化的表演由來自法國、美國與台灣的藝術家及演員共同合作，結合了河床劇團獨特的「台灣超現實主義」以及吉˙馬江對文學的獨到觀點。
Les Fleur du Mal is an image-based exploration of the life and writings of the renowned French author Charles Baudelaire. Baudelaire's collection of poems Les Fleur du Mal was condemned as “an insult to public decency" upon its publication in 1857 due to its decadent portrayal of sex, death, and desire. Combining sculpture, painting, dance, and music, this ritual performance continues Baudelaire's journey into this heart of darkness, searching for glimmers of light amidst the shadows. This cross-cultural performance unites actors and artists from France, the United States, and Taiwan. The collaborative project combines Riverbed's unique “Taiwanese surrealism" with collaborator Guy Magen's literary focus.
