美國作曲大師伯恩斯坦、柯普蘭與蓋希文，名家經典名曲一次滿足！2018是伯恩斯坦百年冥誕紀念，國家交響樂團(NSO)由音樂總監呂紹嘉領軍，並邀請旅美臺裔小提琴家林昭亮擔任獨奏，聯手帶來伯恩斯坦《憨第德》序曲，用熾熱的快版節奏呈現樂團爆發力，加上林昭亮獨奏的《柏拉圖對話錄》小夜曲，共同向音樂巨擘致敬。同場帶來美國猶太裔作曲家柯普蘭《阿帕拉契之春》與蓋希文《波吉與貝絲》交響圖畫等作品精萃，跨越古典、爵士、百老匯等不同風格的曲風，美國當代音樂熔爐的文化底蘊，盡在悠揚樂曲落下的那一瞬！
2018 marks Leonard Bernstein’s centennial, and the legacy of the legendary composer, conductor, and pianist is being celebrated around the world. Under the helm of music director Lü Shao-chia, National Symphony Orchestra pays tribute to this American original and the vibrant 20th-century American music. The program includes the Overture to Candide; Serenade (after Plato’s Symposium), featuring violinist Cho-Liang Lin; and works by Copland and Gershwin, the contemporary Jewish American composers. Spanning across classical, jazz, Broadway, and pop music, the program perfectly embodies the diverse, dynamic spirit of 20th-century American music.
