親率法國天團40週年紀念演出
法國繁盛古樂團由威廉．克里斯提創立於1979年。威廉．克里斯提（William Christie）是大鍵琴演奏家、指揮家、音樂學家和教育家，亦是重新現並向廣大觀眾介紹法國巴洛克音樂的先驅。該樂團現為國際知名的巴洛克聲樂及器樂合奏團。今年為慶祝繁盛古樂團成立40週年，特別巡迴演出韓德爾神劇《彌賽亞》。神劇《彌賽亞》長期以來享有世界知名度，且繁盛古樂團的版本在語言上、戲劇感、戲劇張力上皆已成為基準，它是韓德爾的經典鉅作，也能完整呈現威廉．克里斯提與繁盛古樂團的過去精彩豐富的40年音樂歷程。
This eminently festive and deeply moving work has long enjoyed extraordinary popularity around the world, but the version recorded by Les Arts Florissants has become a benchmark—a testament of the utmost attention to the language, sense of theatre, dramatic tension, energy and vigour of both Handel's masterly oeuvre and the dedicated work of William Christie and Les Arts Florissants over the past forty years.
