此曲琅琅上口、親切的旋律，可說是舒伯特傳世最著名而且最平易近人的歌曲，本曲歌詞取自歌德詩作，創作於1815 年，算是舒伯特早期的作品，用同樣的旋律，配上三段歌詞，充滿童趣且動聽。

Written in 1815, this is an early work of SCHUBERT. This catchy, familiar tune is arguably SCHUBERT 's best known and most approachable piece, with three verses taken from GOETHE's poem accompanied by a recurring melody that is at once childlike and mellifluous.
