兩位主導浪漫時期音樂潮流的人物-舒曼、蕭邦-在 2010年恰好滿兩百歲。舒曼曾寫道: 「即使蕭邦不在作品上署名出版,都不會有人認不出這是誰的音樂,他的音樂如此富有創見,這音樂之力不證自明,並且,在這層出不窮的創意間,還透露出作者的大膽與柔情」 (“Chopin might now publish anything without his name; one would nevertheless immediately recognize him He possesses such remarkable original power that, whenever it displays itself, it is impossible for a moment to be uncertain as to Its source. and he adds to this an abundance of novel forms that compel our admiration for both their tenderness and boldness." ) 說實在,這就是我們要說的「非僅傷懷,更有豪情」。然而,令人好奇的是,為何逾百年來,人們還是只能在蕭邦的作品中聽到蕾絲花絮般的浮光掠影?
