記憶、世界末日、集體潛意識。

未來焦慮、當代預言、因果、詛咒。

我們沒有共同的過去，但擁有同樣的記憶。這樣的記憶放在未來就是死亡、毀滅和末日，末日的存在到底是讓人類不再害怕，還是在故意讓人害怕？

在疫情下，人類對未知的未來更加恐慌，於是我們看見像印度神童、日本漫畫《我所看見的未來》、「推背圖」、《啟示錄》等等的討論，雖然這些論述多半會被當成是怪力亂神的解釋，但它確實反映了人類對未來的種種焦慮。

除了天災，我們還有戰爭和政治，還有烏俄戰爭、兩岸關係、AI的誕生，人類不論關心不關心這些問題，都感到焦慮與無能為力。

為了緩解未來的種種不測，我們致力觀測未來，創造各種當代的預言：天氣預報、股票分析、存活時間預測、MBTI 16型人格測驗等……在數據與科技的介入下，人類學會了預言共存，以因果關係計算未來的行動，不管成功或是失敗，未來不再是遙不可及、被動存在的概念，它確實影響著我們當下的每天、每分、每秒。

自此我們活在一切都有精準預言的世界，彷彿知道答案一切就變得容易許多，雖然有時會失靈，但我們的生活都被其控制，當未來變得越來越重要，「現在」就消失了。

這次作品是一個實驗，希望透過有趣、黑色幽默的方式，與觀眾一同感受和經歷各種預言。雖然種種設定帶有悲觀的色彩，但我還是期待能帶來正面的思考，讓我們思考在這個動盪的時局，身為世界的一份子、身為臺灣人，下一步該怎麼走。

《Operation 1’ 71701’/ 彌》是一個大型互動體驗，我們在實驗「真實」如何被創造，也邀請觀眾一起見證並參與這個「真實」的創造過程，並試圖嘗試表演藝術在劇場外的觀看可能。作品以「世界末日」及「預言」作為串連整個實驗的主題，並分為四個部分：

AR APP —「M1TR4彌」

觀眾被引導至「M1TR4彌」APP，而後每天會收到一道二選一的預言題，例如「明天某時某地會不會下雨」，經過16題的考驗後，最終會選出16名預言者。

而每一道預言題公布解答後，程式就會產生一個由預言題目所延伸發想的AR預言碑，它們散落在臺灣各地，觀眾可以到現場透過APP觀看預言碑。

訊息傳播

APP以預言考驗觀眾的同時，透過「網紅」、「專家」的社群媒體及真實的行動，模糊虛實的邊界，在線上與線下，創造對話可能發生的空間。透過不同的傳播方式，擴散對體驗的關注，引發人們的情緒，以及對議題的思索。

大型實境秀淘汰賽—見證日：終末之戰

2023年11月24日，成功預言最多的16人在兩廳院藝文廣場參加決賽。現場有如一場大型實境秀，也開放現場觀眾和線上收看。經過四道預言題目考驗，最終將選出一位臺灣當代的預言家，贈送新臺幣壹拾柒萬壹仟柒佰零壹元，並讓新任預言家發表一篇2024年的臺灣預言。

未來曆

當2024年的臺灣預言被發布後，觀眾可訂閱「M1TR4彌」APP中的「未來曆」，在預言的時間到來之時，手機會跳出當日的預言內容。什麼是預言？未來是什麼？什麼是末日？什麼是存在？這些對「未來」、「預言」、「末日」的提問，將透過「未來曆」持續引發觀眾的思考及感受。

Memory. Apocalypse. Collective subconscious.

Anxiety about the future. Contemporary prophecies. Karma. Curses.

We do not share a common past, but we hold identical memories, which, when projected into the future, spell death, destruction, and doomsday. Does the concept of an apocalypse liberate us from fear, or is it purposefully designed to incite it?

During the pandemic, the looming uncertainty has intensified our collective anxiety, sparking interest in topics such as the Indian child prodigy, the Japanese manga The Future I Saw, the Chinese prophecy book Tui Bei Tu, and the Christian canon Book of Revelation. While such narratives are often dismissed as mere superstition, they undeniably mirror the diverse fears that humanity holds regarding what lies ahead.

In addition to natural disasters, humans grapple with conflicts and political tensions, including the War in Ukraine and Cross-Strait Relations, as well as emerging complexities like artificial intelligence. Regardless of individual engagement with these issues, the anxiety and sense of powerlessness is palpable.

To mitigate the unpredictability of the future, we dedicate ourselves to monitoring potential outcomes and crafting modern-day prophecies such as weather forecasts, stock analysis, life expectancy predictions, and 16 personality types. With data and technological advances, we have adapted to incorporate foresight into our daily lives, using causality to inform future decisions. These predictions, despite their accuracy, have transformed the future from a remote abstraction into a tangible force that shapes every second, minute, and day of our existence.

Henceforth, we live in a world of precise prophecies, as if knowing the answers simplifies all aspects of life. Although with occasional inaccuracies, these prophecies steer our everyday life. As the future gains ever more importance, the concept of the "present" begins to fade away.

This piece is an experiment designed to engage the audience by presenting an array of prophecies through an intriguing blend of dark humor. While the settings are tinged with pessimism, I hope to inspire positive contemplation, prompting us to thoughtfully deliberate on our subsequent actions, both as global citizens and Taiwanese, amid these turbulent times.
