DOMS 爵士樂團 ( Delta On the Main Street ) 是成立於2001年的現代融合爵士 ( Fusion Jazz ) 樂團，有四位成員：鍵盤手呂聖斐 ( Keyboard ) 、爵士鼓手李守信 ( Drums ) 、貝斯手邱培榮 ( Bass ) 、吉他手嚴和邦 ( Guitar ) 。四人過往合作的對象舉凡張惠妹、黃小琥、梁靜茹、蔡健雅、王力宏等，是國內流行天王天后專輯中不可或缺的頂尖樂手。

器樂音樂的現場演出在國內仍屬小眾文化，其中較為人熟知的爵士樂種為傳統爵士樂 ( Standard Jazz ) DOMS 希望透過音樂演奏，向大眾介紹不同的音樂及不同的欣賞方式，就算沒有歌詞聯想，沒有人聲詮釋，聽眾仍能在音樂旅程中，找到自己舒適的欣賞角度，從曲子的標題與作曲者的話開展聯想畫面，在聆聽音樂的過程中，馳騁於自己的想像。

多年來 DOMS 的演出紀錄包括在2001、2002年淡水爵士音樂節中擔綱演出，以及2002年樂器大展中擔任功學社山葉樂器的”DEMO”BAND。在2003年，更成為功學社山葉樂器的商品代言樂圈，同時也經常性地於台北市河岸留言演出，所累積的人氣扶搖直上，口碑佳評不斷，讓國內各地的融合爵士樂愛好者，常聞名前來欣賞。而流行音樂方面也與多位知名的歌手藝人合作，提供他們最好的音樂伴奏，成為演唱會的堅強後備。

有別於傳統的爵士風格，DOMS 爵士樂團的演出總是帶來現代摩登的節奏與旋律，即所謂的融合爵士樂 ( Fusion Jazz ) 。融合爵士樂的和聲與節奏複雜，悅耳動聽的曲風下其實往往隱藏著樂手的演奏壓力及百變樣式。國內演奏此類樂風者多為外國樂手，然而 DOMS 爵士樂團的成員皆為道地的台灣人，且皆為此類音樂的熱愛者。每次演出的默契、實力、創新、與音樂性，深深影響了許多國內年輕樂團以及樂手，練習演奏此類樂風或是在技術上追求突破。同時亦讓許多爵士愛好者認識了不同於傳統爵士的風格，進而去欣賞世界上更多不同的融合爵士樂。DOMS 樂團在台灣土地的努力耕耘，已為樂界注入了一股新的音樂活力！ DOMS 的演奏樂風涵蓋放克 ( Funk ) 、傳統爵士 ( Standard Jazz ) 、拉丁 ( Latin ) 、節奏藍調 ( R&B ) 、交互音樂 ( Crossover ) 、新世紀音樂 ( New Age ) 等等。DOMS 也致力於創作，在每一次的 Live 演出中皆展現多首創作曲。他們創新的爵士樂風不拘泥於傳統爵士樂的形式，以深厚演奏功力與自由靈魂撞擊出時尚感十足的都會爵士風惰，超越定義，並為音樂世界增加激盪的想像力。

Delta on the Main Street (DOMS)

Delta on the Main Street (DOMS) is a fusion jazz band founded in 2001 by Fred Lui (keyboard), Xiao Bai (drums), Brian Chiu (bass), and Jeff Yen (guitar). Distinguishing their style from standard jazz, the DOMS has always brought with their performances the characteristic dulcet tunes, stylish rhythm, and complex harmonies of fusion jazz. Their music encompasses funk, standard jazz, Latin, R&B, crossover, New Age, etc.

In the past, fusion jazz has been performed in Taiwan mainly by foreign artists. Yet while all four members of the DOMS are genuine locals, they are also passionately in love with fusion jazz. And through performance, they hope to introduce to people a new form of music and a new way of appreciation. Live performance of instrumentals has yet to become a widely accepted art form in Taiwan, and fusion jazz has been little heard of. Nevertheless, the DOMS endeavors to evoke the imagination of every listener, so that even without the assistance of lyrics or the interpretation of vocals, each may find his or her own approach in enjoying the music. With their seamless collaboration, outstanding ability, daring innovation, and remarkable musical quality, the DOMS has successfully inspired many new bands and young artists in Taiwan to pursue fusion styles or to further advance their skills. Their introduction of fusion jazz has also kindled the interests of many jazz lovers and led them to appreciate more different styles.

The DOMS has also performed frequently and continuously since its establishment. They had been the featured guests of the Tamsui Waterfront Jazz Festival in both 2001 and 2002. They have performed regularly at the Riverside Music Cafe, a venue in Taipei for music fans and performers, attracting many fusion jazz lovers from all over Taiwan with their rapidly increasing popularity and public praise. The DOMS has cooperated with many famous pop stars, providing them with the best accompaniment and the firmest support in concerts. Keen in composition, they have also presented many newly composed works in every live performance. With their accomplished skills and free spirits, the DOMS has created an innovative jazz style free from traditional forms, injecting a stream of vitality into the musical world of Taiwan.
