人力飛行劇團2012年最新力作,導演黎煥雄根據陳俊志原著《台北爸爸.紐約媽媽》改編而成。黎煥雄以精確洗鍊的台詞、直擊觸動人心的故事、詩化寫意的視覺與肢體,適切地體現原著中告白與懺情的本質與張力。
劇場版《台北爸爸.紐約媽媽》以60至70年代的台北,80年代的紐約做為故事場景,以一群拆解、重組、離散、又無法相捨的家族成員做為主角,勾勒出飛行、飄散、零落,宛如流離迷鳥的家族象徵。《台北爸爸.紐約媽媽》娓娓道來一個台灣家族三十年來跨越台北紐約的大河家族史,訴說充滿共鳴的生命故事,成為一齣不可錯過的磅礡之作!
What kind of theatrical performance can this work be? Does it have to genuinely reflect the style of the original work? Can a space be simple, yet highly symbolical? Can a performance be realistic and still full of poetic imagery? In addition to a broader structure of imagination and connection, such as time, death, or dream, the performance of actors is also the key. How can they be so inspired as to give an imaginative performance? How do they trace back their own poetic imagery system? How can they be led into every detail? The confessional writing in the original work can be mutually complementary with the multi-layered languages of the stage (imagery, epic, symbolism, realism). Larger proportion of symbolic descriptions combined with partial realistic details will build up a sense of solitude that is both huge and critical, allowing the vines of the solitude to gradually entangle themselves with the vines of others, forming a pure totem. I expect to see a stage on which the solitude, loss, conflict, and final reconciliation in the real world can be presented.
