巴西傳奇抗爭歌手吉貝托．吉爾最後的巡迴， 來臺歌詠熱帶主義音樂宣言！
現年八十二歲的歌手吉貝托．吉爾，是巴西「熱帶主義運動」的重要推手。他融合巴西音樂、非洲節奏與搖滾樂，以自由的曲風宣揚開放與包容，在1960年代的南美洲遍地開花。然而時逢巴西政變，吉爾被軍政府逮捕，被迫流亡海外。直到多年後「熱帶主義運動」獲平反，他終能將理想傳唱世界。除獲多座葛萊美獎肯定，他更出任巴西文化部長，甚至被聯合國教科文組織賦予「和平藝術家」殊榮。

Eighty-two-year-old singer Gilberto Gil has been influential in Brazil's Tropicália movement. He blends Brazilian music, African rhythms, and rock music into his own style that represents freedom, openness, and tolerance. Originally gaining fame throughout South America in the 1960s, he was arrested and forced into exile due to his involvement in the Tropicália movement. It was not until many years later, after his return to Brazil, that he was finally able to bring his ideals to the world through music. In addition to having received multiple Grammy Awards, he has served as Brazil's Minister of Culture and been named Artist for Peace by UNESCO.
On his farewell tour before his retirement, Gil comes to Taiwan to speak out for freedom and tolerance. Through his powerful vocals, Gil invites audiences to revisit the epic crossroads of Brazil's cultural uprising and trace back its colorful history.
