《Humans 2.0》透過當代舞蹈來建立馬戲，舞台上十位表演者學習彼此連結，透過動作來表達情感。表演者以類似希臘神像的優美肢體，結合了翻滾、跳躍、拋接、倒立、疊高、扭轉、擁抱、高空等各種技巧的繁瑣變化，身體的極限被推向極致。整場演出以喜劇性又不失嚴肅性的動作編排，不斷展開如雕塑般的表演組合，表現了充滿美感又具運動感的舞台瞬間，講述了一個簡單卻又複雜的故事，即我們所有人作為人類的意義。
這部作品由瑟卡馬戲團2017年的《Humans》延伸而來，象徵了人類正在持續進步。導演雅倫．萊弗許茲將整個演出焦點，放在全體成員的表演協調與相互支持，創造令人印象深刻的畫面結構，形成了一首視覺交響曲。為了達到動感的2.0想像，本演出特邀以色列電音教父與作曲家歐瑞．利奇提克創作令人激動的電音，加上獲得多次獎項的澳洲燈光設計保羅．傑克森搭配如極簡派繪畫的戲劇性燈光，最後結合服裝設計利比．麥都奈爾設計能適應身體能量與張力的運動服裝，讓《Humans 2.0》洋溢著一種總體藝術的興奮感。
《Humans 2.0》為觀眾帶來了一種發自內心的愉悅。
Humans 2.0 builds circus through the language of contemporary dance, as ten performers on stage attempt to connect with one another and express emotion through movement. With sculptural physicality reminiscent of Greek statues, they combine rolls, leaps, catches, handstands, human towers, twists, embraces, and aerial feats in intricate variations, pushing their physical limits to the extreme. The choreography unfolds in sequences that are both comic and serious, creating sculptural tableaux that capture moments of beauty and athleticism, telling a simple yet complex story, that is, what it means for us all to be human.
This work is an evolution of Circa’s Humans (2017), symbolizing humanity’s ongoing progress. Director Yaron LIFSCHITZ focuses the performance on the coordination and mutual support of the ensemble, crafting a striking mise en scene that resembles a symphony for the eyes. To embody the kinetic imagination of “2.0,” the show features an electrifying score by Israeli electronic music pioneer and composer Ori LICHTIK, alongside award-winning Australian lighting designer Paul JACKSON, whose dramatic lighting recalls minimalist painting. Costume designer Libby McDONNELL complements these with costumes that can adapt to the energy and tension of the body. Together, they imbue Humans 2.0 with the exhilaration of Gesamtkunstwerk.
Humans 2.0 brings audiences a visceral sense of joy.
