全球的媒體娛樂界在強大的電波放送之下夾帶著網際網路的全球蔓延，戲劇這個名詞已經變得耐人尋味，什麼叫戲劇?大部分的人會回答你時下最紅的偶像劇的劇名，上網搜查的結果也會得到一連串相同的結果。所謂「經典」變成在圖書館收藏室角落裡的一疊一瑩的文件，運氣好的時候得以被最新上映的電影拿來當作宣傳稿引經據典一番，而不用管原本文章的前後文意。大師呢?大師是一個只有當他消失後你才突然意識到他存在過的人。

我接觸到柏格曼的舞台劇本《婚姻場景》比接觸到他的電影《第七封印》還要早，雖然前者比後者晚出現十幾年，那是在表演課的片段練習中，我和同學排練了其中的一個片段〈寶拉〉，雖然我一開始便極力向老師爭取演〈約翰的辦公室〉的片段，但在期末呈現之前一直沒得到老師的正面回答關於為什麼我不能和班上的漂亮女生演〈約翰的辦公室〉的片段。整齣戲邏輯井然，但各段落也有其獨立性，所以很適合拿來當作表演課的教材，更不用說這齣戲真的是男女關係的葵花寶典，共同呈現出約翰與瑪麗安八段不同階段的情感關係。無論是在當時 ( 1973 ) 或是在三十年後的令天看來它依然像一根針仔細的挑動我們的情感神經，偶爾卻又無預警且用力的刺透我們的表皮層直搗皮下神經組織。

婚姻場景共分八景：

1. 訪問 ( 夫妻手簽手，互以微笑相對接受雜誌的專訪。)


2. 早餐 ( 相對訪問的真實生活第一次被揭露，劇情從此展開，觀眾開始流汗。)


3. 娜拉 ( 是玩偶之家女主角的名字吧? )


4. 小孩 ( 他們原本的第三個孩子，兩個禮拜後拿掉。)


5. 寶拉 ( 約翰外遇的對象。兩個月前他們相識並陷入熱戀，約翰決意離開瑪麗安。)


6. 重逢 ( 兩年後...... )


7. 約翰的辦公室 ( 他們決定離婚，並第一次嘗試且成功的在地毯上作愛。)


8. 尾聲 ( 七年後，他們各自再婚，繼續定期的在床上討論愛情。)

鑑於伯格曼對影像藝術的愛好和厭惡，本演出將有部分場次由影像形式預錄並於演出時播放，一般人稱之為多媒體劇場 ( 孰不知劇場本為多媒體 ) 。

其他在導演手法上所企圖呈現的特別技巧及對劇本的過度解讀都將視為不道德且對大師不敬的多餘形式。

Message from the Director (or His Soliloquy)

With the overwhelming influence of Internet, the entertainment industry is reaching more people than ever. The definition of theatre is also under revolution. When asked what theatre is, most people would refer to the current hot TV shows. The classics has now tuned to piles of papers in the library, sometimes cited in the movies but never truly read by people. What about Masters? Masters are people who were not noticed before they are gone.

I had known Ingmar Bergman’s script of Scener ur ett äktenskap (Scenes From a Marriage) earlier than his movie Det sjunde inseglet, although the latter was a production shot more than ten years later than Scener ur ett äktenskap. It was in an exercise during a performing class. I played an episode called “Paula”, although my initial plan is to play the episode called “Johan's office”.

The play is well-organized and each of the eight episodes is independent, so it’s an ideal material for a performing class. Meanwhile, the play depicts the chemistry between man and women very well as the relationship between Johan and Marianne develops. Whether back in 1973 or present day, the play really touches us in the heart.

The eight episodes are as following:

Episode 1: Interview. The couple is interviewed by a magazine with their hands held together.

Episode 2: Breakfast. In contrast to the interview, the couple’s real life is being shown here and story unfolds, making audience sweat.

Episode 3: Nora: From A Doll’s House

Episode 4: Children. (Their third children was aborted in the second week of pregnancy.)

Episode 5: Paula (The girl who had an affair with Johan. They met two weeks earlier and fell in love. Johan decided to leave Marianne.)

Episode 6: Reunion (Two years later...)

Episode 7: Johan’s office (They decided to divorce and tried to make love on a carpet with success.)

Episode 8: Epilogue (They got married respectively and continues to discuss love on bed periodically.)

Due to Ingmar Bergman’s unique taste in visual arts, the performance will include some pre-recorded material. It is called multimedia theatre. (Then again, theatre is the original“multimedia”)

Additional effecte and over-interpretation on the script are regarded unethical.
