坐擁多座葛萊美獎的泰倫斯．布藍查，在年輕時曾汲取亞特．布雷基與爵士使者樂團的咆勃精神，至今已成為與溫頓．馬沙利斯齊名的爵士小號手。他多次與名導史派克．李合作，為《黑潮麥爾坎》、《黑色黨徒》等電影配樂，並兩度獲奧斯卡獎提名。此外，他經常用音樂為黑人倡議，更是首位於大都會歌劇院上演歌劇作品的非裔作曲家。 泰倫斯．布藍查的跨域能量，準備在《電氣狂想》高功率輸出！他與親手創立的電氣五重奏，將串聯葛萊美最佳古典跨界專輯得主海龜島絃樂四重奏，以革命性的融合聲響，來展現他理想中的「大熔爐」精神，顛覆你的爵士印象！
As the summer approaches, the annual grand event of the NTCH Summer Jazz is about to start. Over the years, the NTCH has not only invited audiences to enjoy the outstanding performances of world-class musicians, but also been dedicated to promoting the development of jazz music in Taiwan. For the past few decades, through many generations of jazz musicians passed on their baton, the jazz scene in Taiwan has gradually developed its own unique look. Some musicians who were once part of the festival's audience or students in the NTCH Summer Jazz Workshops are now sharing the stage as performers. After more than two decades, this festival has grown into an art event with rich historic impact and continues to engage in dialogues with the contemporary jazz scene.
In 2024, a total of five exciting programs will be presented. In addition to inviting internationally renowned masters to perform in Taiwan, we also bring together musicians of different musical characteristics and backgrounds to perform on the same stage as well as an all-star world-class jazz musicians' line up in our Summer Jazz Project. Furthermore, there are a series of exciting events, including Summer Jazz Workshops, the Summer Jazz Outdoor Party Market, jazz masterclasses, Story Time for Kids, Summer Jazz Online Exhibition, and so forth. Please do not miss the annual wonderful jazz feast! Let's "jazz up" our lives!
