貝多芬被譽為最傑出的變奏曲作家，他擅長於在既有的古典音樂型式中巧妙的作出各種新奇的變化，不再顧忌樂器或演奏者的限制，他所在乎的是譜出的音符和他失聰的耳朵間產生完美的共鳴，大刀闊斧的突破古典型式，在保留合理邏輯性下任意使古典樣式變化。而鋼琴奏鳴曲和絃樂四重奏也達到此典式的最高境界，展現扣人心絃的靈性音樂！「 NSO 音樂學苑」邀請台灣古典樂的名師劉岠渭教授捲起衣袖，透過能言善道、鞭辟入裡的講解方式，在豐富的曲趣與巧妙的作曲技巧中，由獨奏家們以優秀的演奏技巧展現輝煌燦爛的變奏樂章，在課堂中秀出變奏曲的無窮樂趣！
Ludwig van Beethoven is the acclaimed “most outstanding variation composer,” and his specialty was to create all sorts of clever, novel variations within classical forms. Instead of scrupling over limitations on instruments or performers, Beethoven cared first and foremost about composing notes of perfect harmony. While preserving a reasonable extent of musical logicality, Beethoven has also brought classical forms to a breakthrough, and his piano sonatas and string quartets are undoubted evidences of his distinguished achievement.NSO Lecture Series invites classical music expert Professor Chu-Wey Liu to introduce the charms and brilliances of Beethoven and outstanding soloists to demonstrate the thrilling ingenuity of Beethoven’s variations.
