TIFA，一場繁花盛開的藝術饗宴

每年TIFA，兩廳院會將我們認為必須一看的作品、值得關注的藝術家，端上TIFA這個「看世界也看臺灣」的平臺。

疫後的2025，國內外藝術家們無不在蹲低後高高躍起，放大膽量挑戰框架與限制，以手法觀點各異卻無比的堅定回應世界。我們邀請了來自11國、18檔，共118場精彩演出輪番登場，展現這個平臺多元而包容的獨特風景，也邀請所有觀眾，一起經歷想像與視角出格的經典翻轉、穿梭時代風格的顛覆之作，不僅要挑戰極限演繹冒險精神，更要以沉浸科技探問人間生死；多位期待已久的樂壇大師亦將閃耀登臺，帶來不可錯過的樂章。

而演出之外，TIFA也有一系列周邊活動，提供節目之外多種接觸藝術的管道與方法。或許能這樣比喻，TIFA像是一座繁花盛開的花園，歡迎所有人入園，用自己喜歡的態度與視角，找到屬於自己參與藝術的方法。

關於《百問 零式》

當身體成為提問的工具，自由是否也在舞動中顯露新的形狀？在無數問題交織的生命裡，我們是否曾停下，凝視自己的影子，尋找那個最純粹的起點？蘇威嘉的《自由步》系列是一條十年的長河，自濫觴以來，沿途刻畫出各種地貌與風景，《百問零式》則是跨越十年的旅程終章，大江臨海的廣袤壯闊，用肢體追尋美學的極致。

2013年的《漫步 Free Steps》是它還未成形的樣貌，舞者娉婷的線條就已令人為之傾倒。2015年的《自由步 FreeSteps》完成了蘇威嘉對身體語彙的各種實驗，在亞維儂國家舞蹈中心的精彩上演，評論家形容其為「如詩般的肢體語言」。隨後，蘇威嘉為《自由步》開啟了各種形式的探索，將空間擴展到劇場以外的輪廓，有《一盞燈的景身》、《造山運動》的突破；將時間延伸到冥思的尺度，有《日光、軌跡、身影》令思緒跟著飄浮；《身體的眾生相》、《看見你的自由步》和舞蹈大師在生命中交錯，《搖擺歲月》歡慶著素人們草根藝術的脈絡。

《自由步｜百問 零式》是十年淬鍊的結晶，也是蘇威嘉最真摯的自我剖白。他用身體的純粹力量觸動靈魂，讓觀眾在劇場中聽見時間的低語，感受空間的重量與輕盈。每雙眼睛看到的「零式」，都將是不同的風景。帶著你的探問，走進他的零域，在實驗劇場的靜謐中，一同凝視那未解卻無比真切的起點。

編舞、演出｜蘇威嘉

國立臺灣藝術大學傑出校友，為驫舞劇場創辦人之一，2007年集體創作作品《速度》獲得第六屆台新藝術獎表演類年度大獎，2012年與陳武康合作的自傳式作品《兩男關係》於德國獲科特尤斯編舞大賽首獎與最佳觀眾票選獎，2009至2013年在美國芭蕾大師艾略特．費爾德（Eliot Feld）的邀請下，加入Ballet Tech舞團。受艾略特．費爾德啟發，2013年開始進行以《自由步》為題的十年編舞計畫，從軌跡、形狀、質地、神識等要素出發，追求舞蹈身體的細緻、極限，進而引領觀眾賦予表演者各種想像與情感的連結，被舞評形容為將美感耕耘至極致的演出。近年除了持續跳舞、創作，也開始關注作為舞蹈工作者的社會責任，分享跳舞的喜悅於各地。

驫舞劇場

「驫」由書法家張梅駒教授刻印，他建議將原構思的「馬場」命名，改成三匹馬的驫，展現舞團衝勁與爆發力，也代表對舞蹈的熱情與摰愛，於是便有了驫舞劇場。

成立於2004年，由陳武康、蘇威嘉等編舞者、表演者共同創立，以不受拘束無限創意的集體創作、精準到位的舞蹈肢體表現，展現了獨樹一幟的舞蹈劇場風格，並獲得《紐約時報》「迷人、充滿想像力，來自臺灣的全男子舞團」的讚許。2008年以詼諧與深度並具的《速度》獲得第六屆台新藝術獎表演藝術類大獎，2013年以《兩男關係》獲得德國科特尤斯國際編舞大獎（Kurt-Jooss-Preis）首獎及最佳觀眾票選獎。而後驫舞劇場的創作之路轉而深化內省，持續關注於創作形式及語彙的破界與回歸。

近年來，驫舞劇場由藝術總監陳武康及團長蘇威嘉各自發展出創作路徑；陳武康以多變之風格在傳統與當代間練習與實踐，蘇威嘉則以《自由步》為題的十年編舞計畫，持續思考當代舞蹈與編舞形式的可能。驫舞劇場持續在臺灣當代舞蹈中邁進第二十年的變種時期。除了創作之外，驫舞劇場也致力於跨國合作、舞蹈推廣及策劃系列活動，如舞蹈與音樂結合的即興創作平臺《混沌身響》、邀請經典作品的創作者和評論親臨現場舞蹈電影院的《重製場》、樂齡工作坊與跳島舞蹈節等。

TIFA, A Flourishing Arts Banquet!

For each TIFA, we look forward to presenting works we believe are must-sees and artists we think deserve more attention via this platform that reflects both the world and Taiwan.

After the pandemic, artists from Taiwan and around the world are in a crouched position, preparing to take a leap. With unwavering attitudes, they respond to the world by challenging boundaries and limitations via their artistic skills and perspective. A total of 118 outstanding performances by 18 performing artists and art groups from 11 countries demonstrate this platform's unique landscapes of diversity and inclusivity. Together, we will experience classic reversals of imagination, extraordinary perspective, and subversive works that cross eras and styles. We will journey through adventures that challenge limitations, explore life and death through immersive technology, and witness long-awaited performances by renowned maestros.

Last but not least, a series of peripheral events have been planned for TIFA, with the expectation of countless possibilities for the public to experience the arts. Perhaps, TIFA can be likened to a garden with flowers in bloom, into which you are welcome to enter and search for your own way to participate in the arts based on your preferred attitude and perspective.

When the body becomes a tool for inquiry, does freedom take on new forms through movement? In a life interwoven with countless questions, have we ever paused to gaze at our own shadow, searching for that purest point of origin?

Su Wei-chia's

FreeSteps

series spans a decade—a river that has flowed from its source, carving out a multitude of terrains and landscapes along its course.

FreeSteps-murmur

marks the culmination of this ten-year journey, unfolding with the grandeur of a river reaching the sea, as the body becomes the vessel for pursuing the pinnacle of aesthetic perfection.

Despite its nascent and unformed state, the elegant lines of the dancers in the 2013 work Free Steps were already captivating. By 2015,

FreeSteps

had fully realized Su Wei-chia's extensive experiments with bodily vocabulary. Its dazzling performance at the National Choreographic Center of Avignon was praised by critics as "a poetic language of movement."

Following this, Su Wei-chia expanded

FreeSteps

into diverse forms: pushing spatial boundaries beyond the contours of the theater with groundbreaking works like

FreeSteps-NiNi

FreeSteps-Grand Canyon

; and extending time into contemplative dimensions with

, Trajectory, Figures, a work that lets the mind drift along with its movements.

FreeSteps-murmur

is the crystallization of a decade of refinement and Su Wei-chia's most sincere self-examination. Through the unfiltered power of the body, he stirs the soul, allowing audiences to hear the whispers of time and sense both the weight and lightness of space within the theater. Each pair of eyes will perceive a different landscape in Zero.

Choreographer & Performer︱Su Wei-chia

A distinguished alumnus of the Taipei National University of the Arts, Su Wei-chia is a co-founder of HORSE Dance Theater. In 2007, he received the 6th Taishin Arts Award for Performing Arts for the collective creation Velocity. His autobiographical work 2 Men, co-created with Chen Wu-kang, won both First Prize and the Audience's Choice Award at the Kurt-Jooss-Preis in Germany in 2012.

From 2009 to 2013, Su was invited by renowned ballet master Eliot Feld to join Ballet Tech Dance Company in the U.S. Inspired by Feld, he launched his decade-long

FreeSteps

project in 2013, exploring elements such as trajectory, form, texture, and consciousness in his pursuit of movement's refinement and ultimate limits. His performances have been praised by critics as an exquisite cultivation of beauty.

In recent years, while continuing to dance and create, he has also turned his focus to the social responsibilities of dance practitioners, sharing the joy of movement with communities around the world.
