為台灣樂迷引薦國際重量級音樂大師，兩聽院【名家系列】今年邀請兩位來自北歐，耀眼世界樂壇的音樂家一縱橫音樂圈三十年，當今最出色的瑞典次女高音，安妮‧蘇菲‧范歐塔 ( Anne Sofie von Otter ) 、以及出身挪威，【紐約時報】譽為「技術最精湛的新一代鋼琴家」的雷夫‧歐維‧安斯涅 ( Leif Ove Andsnes ) ，純淨澄澈的北國之聲，將滿足您挑剔的耳朵。
范歐塔在八Ｏ年代中期即在歐美各地享有盛名，長期與世界頂尖歌劇院合作，無論專輯或個人都獲獎無數。她不僅擅長演唱古典曲目，現代音樂、音樂劇、爵士、流行等亦駕輕就熟，展現過人實力與跨界才華。應兩廳院之邀，范歐塔將與瑞典室內樂團合作，演出巴赫、中世紀聖樂、瑞典傳統民謠與多首聖誕應景樂曲，以音樂演繹北國冬季耶誕景致。
靠著精湛琴藝，懾服國際樂壇的安斯涅，1992年首度與柏林愛樂演出，一舉打開音樂之路，成為國際各大樂團與音樂節爭相邀約的合作對象。他的演奏獲得樂評人極高評價，費加洛日報以「流露親暱的詩惰，而毫無虛偽的知性」形容，泰唔士報則描述為「令人動容的敏感，且具有強烈犧服聆賞者心靈的力量。」此次來台，他將為樂迷帶來舒伯特、貝多芬與穆梭斯基等精采曲目。

Hark the Sound from the North To introduce world renowned maestros, this year NTCH invited two outstanding musicians from Northern Europe一一 the most talented Swedish Mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter, and Leif Ove Andsnes, who has been named the most accomplished pianist of the new generation by New York Times. The purest sound from the snow-covered north will definitely satisfy your delicate taste. Anne Sofie von Otter had distinguished herself throughout Europe and America since the mid-1980s, and has been collaborating in outstanding performances of top-ranking opera houses, receiving numerous awards, both herself and her albums. Not only does she excels in classics, but she is also skilled in modem music, musicals, jazz, and pop songs, demonstrating her remarkable strength and genius. This time she wil1 bring to us the snow-clad white Christmas from the faraway North, with Bach, medieval sacred music, Swedish folk songs, and many other Christmas songs The Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes, since his first col1aboration with Ber1in Philharmonic in 1992, has enchanted the music world with his exquisite skills and has become overwhelmingly famous. From that moment on he has been one of the most popular choices to collaborate with for international music groups and music festivals, and his performances have received high appreciation from the critics. This time in Taiwan, he will be performing works by Schubert, Beethoven, and Mussorgsky.
