陽明國中弦樂團成立至今26年，在編制上，弦樂團雖屬一般學生社團，非正規音樂班，但團員們長期於週間及週末到校練習，積極代表學校參加各項音樂比賽致力爭取最高榮譽，充分展現挑戰自我的決心及對弦樂的熱忱。由國際級指揮家德岡直樹與五位分部老師們悉心指導下，透過各種演出機會，除提升團員的演奏技巧與音樂性，更訓練團員的抗壓能力以及團隊精神並提升自信，讓他們在國中生涯有段有別於人的豐盛音樂旅程。

Yangming Junior High School String Orchestra, founded in 1999, is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year. In terms of organization, although the String Orchestra is an ordinary student club mainly for students from non-formal music class, its members are motivated to go to school to practice even during weekend, proactively participate in various music competitions by representing the school and strive to win the highest honors, which fully demonstrate their determination to challenge themselves to do better and their enthusiasm for string music. Under the inspiring guidance of the world-class conductor Naoki Tokuoka and five section teachers, Through various performance opportunities and activity planning, the members not only improve their performance skills and musicality, but also develop their ability to handle stress and teamwork in different environments in order to boost their self confidence while enrich their lives with a fulfilling journey of music.
