四十五年來，林懷民領導雲門舞集深入臺灣城鄉，演遍全球，備受國際尊崇。於紐約獲頒有「現代舞諾貝爾獎」美譽的「美國舞蹈節終身成就獎」。在巴黎代表全球舞蹈人士發表「國際舞蹈日」獻詞。於德國「舞動國際舞蹈大獎」獲頒終身成就獎。於倫敦獲得「英國三一拉邦音樂與舞蹈學院榮譽院士」。舞出精彩輝煌的四十五年之後，林懷民宣布將於2019年底退休。「舞作精選」是他的回顧展，摘取雲門經典作品令人叫絕的段落，是您絕對不能錯過的歷史性演出。
After leading Cloud Gate for 45 glorious years and making it one of the finest dance companies in the world, Lin Hwai-min, “one of the greats of the 20th century” (South China Morning Post), will take his final bow as artistic director of the company at the end of 2019. The 45th Anniversary Gala Program is a retrospective of his works, featuring highlights of Cloud Gate classics that had mesmerized audiences worldwide.
