《復活交響曲》,氣勢磅薄登場!
馬勒的音樂,向來蘊含著強烈個人色彩,他的作品裡,經常圍繞著「生命意義」之類的話題,換句話說,「與命運交戰」往往是他所有作品的中心思想。在《第二號交響曲「復活」》當中,來自宗教情懷的詩篇,成了馬勒自我救贖、超脫命運的解脫力量。
這部長達八十分鐘的交響曲,馬勒動用了史無前例的大編制,加入獨唱女高音與女低音,以及混聲合唱團,不只鋪陳馬勒最愛的田園風情與民謠旋律,並且為生命尾聲,重新立下註腳。什麼是「死生契闊」?這個難以解答的大哉問,在馬勒權威指揮家殷巴爾領軍之下,您會得到豁然的答案!

TSO proudly announce, Mahler Symphony No.2 "Resurrection"
The music of Mahler's has always been distinctive and colorful. Mahler often spend a lot of time in his work to talk about topics like “the meaning of life”, in other words, “fighting with destiny” can be viewed as the foundation of all of Mahler’s works. In Symphony No.2 “Resurrection”, people can see how Mahler uses religious poems as a tool for self-salvation, and use it to escape from the chain of fate. Mahler applied a historically large configuration for this 80 minutes piece. He added soprano and alto solo, as well as mixed chorus, not only did it set up Mahler's favorite ballad and country melody, it also reestablishes the theme of “when a life is coming to its end.” We believe, with Maestro Inbal and the TSO's interpretation, audiences will have a new perspective regarding life and its radiance.
