秋夜梧桐雨

秋劇的種子是導演兼編劇羅斌在二十年前就讀荷蘭萊頓大學時種下，當時他研究元雜劇「梧桐雨」時，使用部分元雜劇及以布袋戲的方式在學校演出;羅斌經過在中國泉州、廈門及台灣十幾年的偶戲研究，落地在台灣並成立大稻埋偶戲館; 他一直等待機會能將這個故事重新創作，直到2001 年與伍姍姍策劃演員與偶戲同台的發展，兩位作者決定以「長恨歌」與「梧桐雨」為出發，以現代人的觀點來詮釋耳熟能詳的楊唐情史，在2002年完成劇本並同時間治進行表演的籌備工作。
關於羅斌
大稻埕偶數館館長羅斌堪稱當代亞洲偶戲權威，鼓吹國際偶戲表演交流不遺餘力，編導作品兼具細緻與前瞻色彩，在多重背景薰陶下，羅斌將讓此劇格局更具規模與份量。
關於姍姍
國際表演藝術家伍姍姍，深諸歐美表演體系精髓，將挾其肢體、即興表演專長，以犀利的肢體爆發力強化演員表現深度，劇場專業編導資歷更是秋劇製作人的不二人選。
The seed for this play was planted twenty yea rs ago when director-script writer Robin Ruizen daal was studying at Leiden University. At the time he studied Yuan dynasty drama with Professor Wilt Idema and even performed p arts of translated plays with glove puppets. After more than ten years of research into puppetry in Quanzhou, Xiamen and Taiwan, he has settled down in Taiwan and established the TTT Puppet Centre . His long-awaited chance to produce Autumn Rain came in 2001 , when he and Wu Shanshan decided to combine actors and puppets into one play based on the r Song of Everlasting Regret 」and「Wutong Tree Rain 」 . The script， which is a contemporary annotation of the Tang D ynasty love story, was completed in the year 2002 and preparations for its performance commenced immediately.
Robin Ruizendaal
Robin Ruizendaal, director of the TTT Puppet Center, may be considered an authority on contemporary Asian puppet theater and spares no effort to advo cate international puppet theater exchange. His meticulous writing and directing resulted in a play that is both poetic and highly dramatic.
Wu Shanshan
International performer Wu Shan shan is very proficient in the E uropean and Americ an forms of acting, using strong body language to bring depth into her p erformance. Her combined knowledge of Western and Chinese theatre make her an excell ent choice as co-producer of this play.
