一股厚實的嗓音，如杵舂打榖臼；一股沉穩的低吟，如吹拂過平原上稻穗的暖風；再一股清亮的百囀千迴，如飛躍出谷的黃鶯。Muagaii、Senayan、Ivi，這三位原舞者創團時的當家女聲，分別來自魯凱、卑南與排灣，她們的歌聲，撩撥了異族對文化重聽的耳，鑲繡了原舞律動的線條。二十多年後的再交鋒，三種聲音、三種風景，她們的聲音，穿透空間、穿透時間，穿透語言與文化，帶我們尋找靈魂的原鄉。
A rich and resonant voice reminds us of the sound of a pestle striking the surface of a mortar. A low and calm murmur reminds us of the sound of the gentle breeze blowing through the paddies on the plain. And a crystal-clear meandering note reminds us of the chirping of orioles soaring above the valley. Muagaii, Senayan, and Ivi are the leading indigenous divas whose voices were the highlights of the performances of the Formosa Aboriginal Singing and Dance Troupe when this troupe first debuted. They are from the Rukai, Puyuma, and Paiwan tribes respectively. With their singing, they overcame the initial aversion to hearing sounds of a different culture. Their voices also accentuated the driving rhythm created by the indigenous dancers. Joining forces once more after their collaboration more than twenty years ago, they portray three scenes evoked by three voices. These are the sounds penetrating through time and space, linguistic and cultural barriers that lead us to seek out that dwelling where our souls reside.
