在1827 年，也是舒伯特去逝的前一年所完成的C 大調小提琴與鋼琴幻想曲，採用巴洛克時期教會奏鳴曲的「慢—快—慢—快」。四個連續的樂章最初由伴隨著鋼琴纖細顫音的小提琴，緩緩訴說出對生命的期待，鋼琴近乎頑固的深沉低音和靈動跳躍的高音，交錯包圍著小提琴悠悠的旋律；第二段輪旋曲般的小快板像是一輛不曾停歇的馬車，旅途中道路的崎嶇起伏，最終仍會抵達終點與摯愛的朋友們相聚同樂；第三部分小行板主題與變奏，來自1822年的藝術歌曲 Sei mir gegrüsst《向您問候》，搭配華爾滋的旋律。然後音樂回到開頭，短暫回顧最初對生命的期待。第四部分是一首光輝的禮讚，可以在當中聽到貝多芬第九交響曲終樂章的磅礡合唱，最後由一個從低音直衝而上的音階，燦爛結束全曲！

The Sonata in a minor, D. 821 is commonly heard and performed nowadays on the cello or the viola. Written in 1824, SCHUBERT composed this sonata for a newly invented instrument: the Arpeggione, which was a hybrid of a guitar and cello. The 6-stringed instrument is tuned like a guitar and has frets, although it uses the bow, creating a unique timbre and having the ability to play more complex chords. The adaptation to cello may also reWe can regard SCHUBERT's 1827 Fantasie for Violin and Piano in C Major as his swan song. Opening with the violin singing the long delicate line, accompanied by the slender tremolos of the piano. The second part Allegretto is like a carriage that never stops, despite rough ups and downs on the road during the journey towards beloved friends. Then the third part is Variations with a theme of SCHUBERT's 1822 song Sei mir gegrüsst (Greetings to you), a setting of a poem written by famous German Poet Friedrich RÜCKERT, dazzling skills of both instruments, then then the music suddenly returns to the beginning - a brief review of the initial expectations for life. The final part is a "Gloria" in which we seemingly hear the majestic chorus singing Ode to joy from the final movement of BEETHOVEN's Ninth Symphony! The whole piece ends in triumph with a brilliant ascending scale.
