萊比錫布商大廈管絃樂團即將再度訪臺！由現任總監尼爾森斯帶領，獨特的爆發力加上樂團最受讚譽的醇厚聲響，讓熟悉的曲目耳目一新。兩部孟德爾頌作品，向時任音樂總監的作曲家致敬：音樂會序曲《美麗的梅露西娜》述說迷人的水妖題材，樂曲開始一段木管主奏的流動聲響彷彿預告著華格納驚世的《萊茵河》手筆。第三號交響曲《蘇格蘭》，看似聚焦北方國度的人文景緻，實則充滿歷史感懷，壯闊到親密，俚俗到深沈。
本次演出亦安排曾在1841年於布商大廈首演第一樂章的舒曼鋼琴協奏曲。作品兼容霸氣及溫婉，鋼琴主奏和樂團緊密交織。隨團登臺的日本鋼琴家藤田真央於日本接受完整音樂教育，曾勇奪多項國際大獎，並受荷蘭皇家大會堂等頂尖樂團垂青，音色純淨，熱情中仍保有完美詩意。

The Gewandhausorchester Leipzig returns to Taiwan. Andris NELSONS, the Gewandhauskapellmeister (Music Director and Principal Conductor), infuses the orchestra’s acclaimed rich sound with his signature explosiveness, revitalizing familiar repertoire and creating amazement time and time again. As a tribute, the program includes two pieces from the former Gewandhauskapellmeister. Concert overture The Fair Melusine, based on German water-nymph literature. The flowing sound of the woodwind at the beginning seems to foreshadow WAGNER’s legendary Rhine. Symphony No. 3, Scottish, which seems to focus on the cultural landscape of the northern country but is full of historical reflections. The program also features SCHUMANN’s Piano Concerto, whose first movement premiered at Gewandhaus Leipzig in 1841. Combining power and tenderness, the piano and the orchestra are closely interwoven. Touring with the orchestra is Japanese pianist Mao FUJITA, who has received a comprehensive musical education in Japan, won multiple international awards, and was recognized by top orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in the Netherlands. His sound is pristine and passionate, still maintaining perfect poeticism. In November 2023, at Weiwuying, experience how an orchestra becomes the pride of a city and how a city shines because of an orchestra.
