Genghis Khan was created by Dr. TANG Jianping. Inspired by the legendary hero, this rhapsodical symphonic poem portrays the unique prairie and desert lifestyle of the Mongolians, who live in harmony with nature. It features traditional Mongolian folk songs, sihu and morin-khuurs (Mongolian horsehead fiddles）. With a 200-member cast from the Chinese Orchestra, Genghis Khan promises a soundscape unfolding an impressive panorama of the vast, expansive Mongolian grasslands.
