於1950年所錄製的《Charlie Parker with Strings》專輯，以重新詮釋爵士樂迷們熟悉的「爵士標準曲目」（jazz standards）為主，是查理．帕克一生最受歡迎的專輯之一。由爵士樂的節奏組加上優美弦樂團的組合，突顯了樂曲的旋律性，也同時跳脫了咆哮樂手採用複雜技法、和聲變化及快節奏的刻板印象，為認識查理．帕克絕不可錯過的作品。《柔情咆哮》將以弦樂融入咆哮樂，透過節奏組和弦樂四重奏，將當代的聲音注入經典！
Charlie Parker with Strings, the album recorded in 1950, reinterpreted the jazz standards that were familiar to jazz fans, and was one of Charlie Parker’s most popular albums during his life. The combination of the jazz band rhythm section and the beautiful string orchestra highlights the melody of the music, and at the same time escapes the stereotypes of Bebop music’s complex virtuoso techniques, harmony changes, and fast-paced rhythms.
