充滿神秘力量的神話故事，激起古今中外藝術家們的無限想像。自遠古希臘神話到近代民間傳說，神話人物及超自然世界中的精靈以各種形象游走在各種藝術型式中，講述著奇幻的故事。本音樂會以傳說故事為發想，自希臘神話中奧林帕斯諸神居住地（浦賽爾〈美麗的島嶼〉)開始，帶領觀眾聆賞詩歌中的神話故事：有神話中最常出現的小愛神邱彼特(Cupid)、眾神之神宙斯鍾愛的美少年蓋尼米德(Ganymed)、命運曲折的美女賽姬(Psyché)、一但走過就不再回頭的韶華女神赫帛(Hébé)、為愛化身為樹的費莉絲（Phyllis），還有各式各樣的精靈、仙子及水妖們，帶領觀眾進入歌樂裡的神話世界。
From ancient Greek myths to modern folklore, mythical figures and supernatural spirits have appeared in art, sharing imaginative and fantastical tales. This recital opens with Purcell’s “Fairest Isle,” home of the Gods in Greek mythology, and invites the audience to explore mythological stories through songs and arias. Featured are Cupid, the God of love; Ganymed, the youth adored by Zeus; Psyché, the beautiful woman with a twisted fate; Hébé, Goddess of youth who serves wine eternally; Phyllis, who became a tree for love; and music evoking spirits, fairies, and sirens. The recital brings the mythical world to life through music, poetry, and song.
