推開半啟的門，一次呼吸，一條死路，一座吊橋，宛若一場清醒時刻的夢境

《慾望片段》的開場圍繞在男主角小時候與他殘疾的父親及家庭女教師之間，有關愛、慾望、權力、傷害之間複雜且微妙關係。男主角長大後擺脫家庭，也擺脫性別，找尋到一段屬於自己的愛情，這段戀情救贖了男主角原本破碎的靈魂。本劇有四個角色：父親、兒子、家庭女教師奧嘉與歐蘭多，他們的人生如一堆混亂的毛線，彼此糾纏拉扯。故事勾勒出存在的艱難，迫切尋找體內被埋藏起來的某種東西，順著自己的路走，用急切著想表達自我的方式找到極限，然後從自我裡走出來，勇敢接納自己身體的每一部份。

雙向肢體劇場成立於1997年，由來自巴西的阿圖‧里貝羅（Artur Ribeiro）與安德烈‧柯提（Andre Curti） 在巴黎的藝術節相識而共同創辦，受到山謬‧貝克特《等待果陀》的啟發，他們決定一起研究劇場與舞蹈編排。兩位藝術家的舞蹈背景促使他們對於劇場的身體性不斷提問，在劇場空間中如何運用身體表達戲劇是驅使他們創立肢體劇場的動力。相較於西方將戲劇與舞蹈分野專業化，東方世界始終將舞蹈、音樂、戲劇融合為一的全藝術（Total Arts）則更能呼應他們對於肢體劇場的探索精神。

該劇團創團至今已巡迴世界各地，如：巴西、祕魯、俄國、摩洛哥、大溪地、印度、韓國等，足跡甚達非洲。演出已超過千場，也曾赴世界各大藝術節演出，如：1999年即獲邀參與亞維儂藝術節，2005年獲觀眾票選為「最佳表演」，也獲當屆「亞維儂ADAMI(表演藝術家著作權協會)獎」，榮獲2010年巴西票選為年度十大表演節目之一，及巴西第23屆 Shell Theatre Award 等獎項。首度抵台的雙向肢體劇場將帶來充滿豐富視覺效果及意象的《慾望片段》，全劇無語言演出，精準的表演技巧如夢似幻卻又真實赤裸。

Fragments of Desire is a balance between the abyss of the necessity to say who we are and the abyss of desire. The play traces the story of four characters: a father, his son, Olga the governess and Orlando. Their intertwined lives speak of the difficulty of being and explore the urgency to assert their places. With intensity and tenderness, everything is suggested, just a partial opening onto the destiny of lost solitudes.This fifth creation from the two directors and choreographers Artur RIBEIRO and André CURTI opens new artistic directions as much in the research of writing centered on physical theatre as in the aesthetic universe explored. At the beginning, the desire was to create a performance on difference, to recount the lives of men and women who are on the limit and attempt to assert their identity.Research and Scene Writing For more than 10 years, Artur RIBEIRO and André CURTI have exchanged, conversed, experimented and together created performances of physical theatre. There is not any text or words to support the narration but this is really a theatrical writing, with its dramatic tensions coming from conflicts, suspensions, with its problems and the state of expectation and surprise produced in the spectator.This is not a drama production of body states but rather of character bodies. The sequence of research events is the permanent quest of the simultaneity of choreographic and theatrical gesture. How does the body express, by stylization and translation, the theatrical action? For this performance, Artur Ribeiro and André Curti threw themselves into a writing which totally moves away from linear narration.
