Berliner Philharmoniker, king of symphony orchestra, holds the highest standing among music lovers. It is a regrettable omission that Taiwan hasn't had a chance to witness its unique performance. This year, for the first time ever, the Berliner Philharmoniker will corne to Taiwan, and TSMC is honored to contribute in hosting the unprecedented spedacular ensemble. Berliner Philharmoniker is an orchestra with great tradition, shaped by a succession of outstanding master conductors and a history of superlative
performance dating back for a century. This tradition is continued and invigorated by the recent election of the fresh and young Sir Simon Rattle as music director.
