長笛是西洋音樂史中發展最悠久的樂器之一，其柔美的音色與靈活的技巧表現，自古至今都是許多作曲家的靈感來源。隨著時代的演進，近代的長笛音樂風格也越來越多變，作曲家們紛紛將各式當代的樂風寫進了作品裡，將長笛音樂發展得更加豐富多彩。這場音樂會跨越了國界與風格的藩籬，讓觀眾聽見不同於傳統，諸如爵士、搖滾、騷莎等豐富多變的音樂風貌，由長笛家林尚蓉與鋼琴家高韻堯再度攜手合作，以精湛的技巧與絕佳的默契，將這個屬於我們時代的音樂做了最完美的演繹。

Flute, one of the most popular instruments in music history, has inspired generations of composers with the beauty of its sound.Over time, the styles of flute music continued to evolve. Today it includes widely popular jazz, hard rock, and salsa. Flutist Shang-Jung LIN and pianist Yun-Yao KAO will perform works by N. Kapustin, A.Ghidoni, M. Mower and P. Schoenfeld, presenting the audience with the fascinating versatility of flute music.
