2020對於所有人幾乎像是毫無存在的一年，面對病毒與疫情無情的打擊，讓大家重新思考生命的意義與體驗生活步調的改變。2020在古典音樂世界，恰逢貝多芬250誕辰以及蕭邦與舒曼210誕辰，鋼琴家廖皎含期望藉由三位大師的璀璨巨作喚醒大家重啟生命的感動與活力。同時力邀知名作曲家蕭慶瑜教授透過串聯與編織三位大師的作品，融合自我的音樂語彙，帶領大家走向充滿希望的幻想之路。
2020 is a very unique year in the music world. Beethoven 250th, Schumann 210th and Chopin 210th birthday are all happening in 2020.
Taiwan distinguishing pianist, Chiao-han Liao especially chooses Beethoven Sonata Op111, Chopin 5 post waltzs and Schumann piano sonata op.11 to celebrate three mastro’s birthday. At the same concert, Chiao-Han Liao will feature Taiwan important composer, Ching Yu Hsiao’s world premiere “The way to fantasy”
Chiao-han Liao, a native of Taiwan, is an active performer of solo and chamber music throughout the United States, Taiwan, Japan, and Finland. Ms. Liao is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Juilliard School and Yale School of Music.
After returning to Taiwan from 2002, Chiao-han Liao has made two solo albums, “Encore” and “Xi Shi Fantasy” complete piano solo works of Fu Tong Wong; three chamber music albums, Beethoven complete works for cello and piano with cellist Grancinie Ouyang, “Encounter” and “Floral Sound”. Ms. Liao also translates the Chinese version of Boris Berman’s book “Notes from the Piano Bench” and Michael Friedmann’s book “Ear Training for Twentieth-Century Music”. Chiao-han currently resides in Taiwan and is on the faculty at National Taiwan Normal University.
