2020 Training Program for Theater Technicians

衛武營國家藝術文化中心為培育劇場技術專業人力，以期推動表演藝術生態健全發展，「劇場技術基礎班」和「舞台管理基礎班」除安排「技術人員」與「舞台管理者」基礎職能課程外，更規劃了包括共同課程「劇場通識」、「劇場安全課程」、「共通技術」等單元，建立進入劇場行業的基礎通識能力，並於結業前安排「就業講座」，邀請從業人員分享工作經驗談，提供學習者找到入行方向。
Following the opening of a good number of new performing arts centers in recent years and the rising of various kinds of performing programs, the demand for professional theatre technical talents is urgent. Hence, Taiwan Association of Theatre Technology (TATT) cooperates with the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) to conduct the "2020 Weiwuying Theatre Tech Workshop", including "Basic Theatre Technology" and "Basic Stage Management" for learning fundamental theater technology, "Introduction to Theatre" and "Theatre Safety" for establishing theatre workers-related basic safety knowledge. The full range of courses, delivered by professionals with expertise and practical experiences through both theoretical and hands-on lessons, cover lighting, sound, stage, audio, video, theatre safety and general theatre, so as to cultivate theatre technicians for southern Taiwan. We anticipated that students will be prepared for technical theatre roles upon completion of the workshop.
