2025年適逢國立臺灣交響樂團創團八十週年，為慶祝這個特別的時刻，國臺交於團慶前規劃一系列不同性質的演出，其中「交響大會串」系列依循著「有朋自遠方來，不亦樂乎」的精神，邀請國內具代表性的交響樂團隊共同登臺、以樂會友。
系列最終場是名符其實的「交響大會串」，邀請台北愛樂管弦樂團與華洲園掌中戲團共同登臺，演出當代作曲家鍾耀光創作的《媽祖傳奇》，再攜手4位國內知名獨唱家及高雄室內合唱團聯演貝多芬第九號交響曲《合唱》，除了將東、西方對藝術及信仰的不同創作呈現透過交響樂進行演繹外，也藉此向將偶戲、合唱與交響樂植鞣成章的兩位極富實驗精神的作曲家致敬。

To celebrate the 80 anniversary of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, the 3 concerts of "Symphonic Bouquet" series were arranged and the third of the series is "Ode to Joy-Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra x Kaohsiung Chamber Choir x HZY Puppet Troupe"-the first part of the performance is "The Legend of Mazu" composed by Yiu-Kwong Chung while the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra coordinates with the Hua-Zhou-Yuan Puppet Troupe, and the second part is the Choral Symphony by L. v. Beethoven, which show salute to the two experimental compositions of orchestral works.
