2022年2月，數千位觀眾穿梭衛武營音樂廳與表演廳，以24小時不間斷的現場演出，一同「瘋迷」舒伯特無窮魅力。2023年，「瘋迷」系列重現衛武營，這次「瘋迷」的對象，正是史上最璀璨耀眼的音樂神童──莫札特！

大作曲家多半都是神童出身，這名號為何僅屬莫札特？都要歸功於他的音樂家「星爸」，出生於1756年的莫札特，6歲起被爸爸帶著巡演歐洲兩回，小小年紀能作曲、善演奏，在各國宮廷造成一陣旋風，神童之名不脛而走。然而隨著莫札特年歲漸長，這些早期名聲並未帶給他任何好處，關不住的天才機鋒，使莫札特無法像當時的音樂家一樣，當上樂長安穩一生，成年後的經濟窘迫，更讓他不得不成為史上第一位「專職作曲家」，以演出、教學與委託創作維生，並埋下僅在世35歲的遠因。

不過，從莫札特留下的六百多部作品中，絲毫聽不出他的生活困頓。下筆如神、幾乎未改的樂譜上，展現永遠純粹且無比靈巧的美妙旋律，首首皆是人類瑰寶。《瘋迷24莫札特》囊括其著名交響曲、協奏曲、歌劇選粹、室內樂及奏鳴曲作品，各色精采演出，保證帶領觀眾感受到大科學家愛因斯坦所言：「我從莫札特的音樂裡，聽見了宇宙內在美！」

影史經典《阿瑪迪斯》由米洛斯．福曼執導，改編自英國當代戲劇大師彼得．謝弗爵士同名舞台劇，演繹音樂神童莫札特的傳奇一生，透過將他視為競爭對手的宮廷樂師薩里耶利之視角，講述莫札特不為人知的天真、叛逆與猖狂。經由數十段莫札特筆下旋律、演員高超演技與復刻仿真的街道場景，譜出才氣漫天、實至名歸的奧斯卡巨作。本片1984年版囊括最佳男主角、最佳導演、最佳影片、最佳改編劇本等奧斯卡八項大獎。此次放映為導演剪輯版，增加20分鐘之長度，帶給各位更加豐富的18世紀莫札特現場！

A 24-Hour Musical Marathon of MOZART's Immeasurable Genius!

In February 2022, several thousand visitors relished in 24 uninterrupted hours of performances of SCHUBERT's magnetic work in Weiwuying's Concert Hall and Recital Hall. In 2023, the 24 Hours series will bring us the child prodigy par excellence: MOZART. 

Most of the great composers were child prodigies, so why is MOZART the prodigy "par excellence"? The answer: his father. MOZART was born in 1756, and at the age of six, his musician father took him on two European tours. Able to both compose and perform well at such a young age; he became a sensation in all the royal courts as his reputation spread rapidly. But this was of little help as he grew older. His acute yet untamed genius made him too unlike his contemporaries, who held steady employment as royal court composers their whole lives. His resulting financial difficulties forced him to become history's first professional composer outside the court. He thus made a hard living by performing, teaching, and commissioned composition, which contributed to his untimely death at 35.

However, one would hardly believe the over 600 pieces of music he wrote came from such a strained life. With his divine talent, he rarely made revisions to his first drafts, all of which are eternally pure and incomparably brilliant treasures of humanity. During 24 Hours MOZART, the audience will hear his famous symphonies, concertos, opera highlights, chamber orchestra pieces, and sonatas, through which listeners are sure to experience EINSTEIN's sentiment: "MOZART's music is so pure and beautiful that I see it as a reflection of the inner beauty of the universe!"

Amadeus (The Director's Cut), is the 2002 Special Edition based on Sir Peter SHAFFER's London and Broadway stage hit. The film includes 20 additional minutes of drama, music and sound not in the 1984 release, and which were all added with the enthusiastic approval of Milos FORMAN, Sir Peter and Saul ZAENTZ. In 1985 the original theatrical release of Amadeus won 8 Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for F. Murray Abraham, Best Screenplay Adaptation for Peter SHAFFER, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Make-up and Best Sound.

Playwright Sir Peter SHAFFER, who adapted the screenplay of Amadeus from his long-running London and Broadway stage hit, calls Amadeus "a fantasia based on fact. It is not a biography of Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART, nor was it intended to be. In telling a story about MOZART and his arch-rival, the court composer Antonio SALIERI, I have not violated the specific nature of MOZART the man, and certainly not MOZART the composer. Above all, the film of Amadeus, much more than the play, is a celebration of MOZART's music."
