【2023 Weiwuying International Music Festival】Vocal Extravaganza- Soprano Recital Julia LEZHNEVA and Pavel NERSESSIAN

2023衛武營國際音樂節隆重邀請被紐約時報譽為「天使般優美」俄羅斯女高音列茲妮娃來臺獻唱。有著寬廣音域的列茲妮娃以既圓潤又細膩的嗓音征服全球聽眾，衛報更是以「完美藝術」及「令人難以忘懷的靈性演出」來讚美其高度技巧及詮釋。專攻18世紀和19世紀初的女高音和花腔女中音的音樂，列茲妮娃極度擅長演唱巴洛克歌劇，她優雅的花腔內斂自持又飽富能量，BBC雜誌曾形容她一上台便「如太陽般綻放溫暖及喜悅」，聆聽時彷彿被神聖樂音圍繞，如沐春風。此次更將重磅邀請俄國鋼琴家帕維爾・納塞西安同台演出，8歲開始巡演，1987年從莫斯科柴可夫斯基音樂學院以最高分畢業後，1991年獲都柏林GPA國際大賽首獎，自此活躍國際樂壇。

The 2023 Weiwuying International Music Festival will be inviting Russian soprano Julia LEZHNEVA, whose voice was hailed as "angelic beauty" by the New York Times. With a wide vocal range, LEZHNEVA amazes fans around the world with her smooth and delicate voice. The Guardian has praised her stunning performance and interpretation skills as "unforgettable spiritual expression" and "perfect artistry." Specializing in soprano and coloratura mezzo-soprano music of the 18th and early 19th century, LEZHNEVA excels at Baroque opera. Her elegant coloratura is subtly sung but full of energy; as BBC Magazine commented: "She is like a sun that can't help but produce warmth and joy when she comes on stage," it feels like the holy sound from heaven when she opens her mouth.

In this performance, the Russian pianist Pavel NERSESSIAN will be performing with LEZHNEVA. He started touring at the age of eight. After graduating with the highest score from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in 1987, he won first place in the GPA Dublin International Piano Competition in 1991 and has been active internally ever since.
