兩廳院有史以來第一次的雙人舞大觀，邀請20位獨立編舞家，與舞者進行速配組合，慶祝兩廳院的20歲生日。有些雙人舞展技，有些是情人組合，有些是默契相投的舞蹈伙伴，雙人舞的遐想，既是最簡單，也是最困難的，同時也企圖讓觀眾在編舞家不同的風格裡，一次看到台灣舞蹈界資深及新生代編舞家多元的身體技巧與面貌。
The first Duet Dance Gala produced by the NTCH, in which several choreographers and dancers are invited paired up, is a special party for the NTCH’s 20th anniversary. The duet dance can eitber be expressed in very simple or sophisticated form. The relationship between partners can be as intimate as lovers or as impersonal as mere acquaintances. No matter what their relationship is, the dancers of the duet display romantic grace and lively energy.
