古典樂及現代樂在這個世代將如何更迭，該何去何從？如何能在林立的作品中，聽見音符下的共鳴，策展出精彩的音樂會？本場講座將歡迎衛武營國際音樂節的藝術總監陳銀淑，也是當代最活躍的作曲家之一，為樂迷近距離講述她的創作歷程，分享如何建立自己的音樂語彙，更進一步探討，找尋自我聲音的過程中可能會碰到的瓶頸及挑戰。
陳銀淑的音樂從不侷限在一個特定的風格，採納大量的配器色彩，豐富的節奏意象，從電子音樂到交響樂作品，皆被世界重要樂團演奏，此外更致力推廣優秀的當代作品，為全球樂壇最有影響力的策展人之一。
How do we anticipate classical and contemporary music will evolve in this generation, and where should we steer them? How can one identify the underlying resonance among the vast number of compositions and curate an exceptional concert program? Join us for a lecture featuring Unsuk CHIN, the artistic director of the Weiwuying International Music Festival and one of the most prominent composers of our time. CHIN will offer fans an intimate look into her creative process, discussing how to develop a unique musical vocabulary. During the lecture, the audience will have the opportunity to engage in a conversation about the challenges that arise when seeking one's own musical voice and navigating unfamiliar obstacles.
CHIN's music defies categorization, encompassing a broad range of orchestration colors and intricate rhythmic patterns. Her works, ranging from electronic music to symphonies, have been performed by prestigious orchestras and ensembles around the world, and CHIN has become a leading figure in the global music scene, actively promoting contemporary works as one of their most influential curators.
