打開皮箱，創意、詩意、回憶的時光旅程，從此開始
《老皮箱》以繪本《老皮箱歲歲念》為創作靈感，運用創造性戲劇概念和物件劇場形式，透過肢體和聲音扮演，以幽默生動、啟發性的表演，帶來想像的力量。將臺灣移民的故事和眷村文化，以物件、光影、偶戲、音樂等元素，帶領觀眾走入創意、詩意、回憶交織的劇場魔幻時光旅程。
故事主角為一只老皮箱，它隨著主人歷經戰爭、逃難，搬進眷村，直到紅磚老眷村被拆遷，生命旅程中遇到許多不可思議的故事、難忘的朋友和回憶。透過老皮箱的經歷，引出歲月流轉，「家」的想像與意涵，帶給兒童觀眾臺灣特有移民歷史、文化和蘊含的多元包容精神。
改作自國立臺灣文學館與玉山社共同出版之《老皮箱歲歲念：眷村拾光》，文：鄭若珣／圖：孫心瑜。
The story of The Old Suitcase is inspired by a picture book, uses the concepts of Creative Drama and object theatre forms, through physical movement and sound effect, with humorous and vivid and inspiring performances, to bring the power of imagination. The stories of Taiwanese immigrants and the culture of the military village are used to lead the audiences into a magical time journey of creativity, poetry and memories intertwined with objects, light and shadow, puppetry, music and other elements.
The story starts with an old suitcase, which moved into the military village with the owner through war and flight, it had encountered many incredible stories, unforgettable friendship and memories in the journey of life, until the old red brick military village was demolished. Through the experience of the old suitcase, it tells the passage of time, and shows the imagination and meaning of "home", and the unique immigrant history, culture and spirit of inclusiveness of Taiwan are brought to the children.
Inspired by The Memorial of an Old Suitcase: A Portrait of Military Village, co-published by National Museum of Taiwan Literature and Taiwan Interminds Publishing Inc., authored by CHENG Ruo-shiun, illustrated by SUN Hsin-yu.
