《獨自者》



一個人,在憂鬱情緒的纏繞下,常常無法向任何人救援,只能獨自默默的承受,也許唯有處於只有一個馬桶的空間裡,才能真實的表露情感,訴說自我。在現實與虛幻的拉扯下,無意間構築了一道心牆,牆裡的世界,無奈、孤獨,也是自以為是的浪漫;牆外的冷漠、激動卻是無法訴說的獨白。在憂鬱的世界裡,到底誰能真正的說出?



 



《那一夜》



《那一夜》的靈感來自於《晚安,母親》 ( 'night, Mother ) ,由1983年普立茲戲劇獎得主 Marsha Norman 所著。劇本中女兒與母親各自陳述著,為什麼要自殺與有什麼值得活下來的論點。患有癲癇症、酗酒、生活顯然不如意的女兒,冷靜地解釋交代自己是在「該劃下句點的地方做個完結」,並且一一駁斥母親訴諸感情與心理剖析的說服及說理。編舞者此次延伸劇本「自殺」的議題,以構成此次舞作的主旨-決定。人生各個階段都是不同的選擇所組成的,一個晚上或是十五分鐘的抉擇也許會改變自己或是週遭的人的一生。此次很榮幸請到台灣劇場界天后徐堰鈴為舞作發聲,她的表演兼有內斂與爆發性不同層次的力量。編舞者與舞者發展肢體動作本身時不賦予其任何意義。但舞作結構與語言相結合峙,期待可以引發彼此的共通情感,檢視自己階段性的問題,鼓勵以積極的態度面對。特別感謝徐堰鈴老師辛苦的錄製,吳義芳、王嘉明、鄭宗龍老師的指導;與陳長志先生的攝影,林彥騰、鄧詠心、陳阿阿、張華瑋、陳逸恩、董怡芬、李宗興的幫忙。



 



《幸福》



從一種摟抱到另一種摟抱,幸福的抉擇時時在改變。快樂不見得幸福;幸福也不代表快樂。從一種摟抱到下一種摟抱,誰曉得摟住的是真實幸福,亦或是另一個虛幻的歡愉。在這一切看不見的瘋狂之中,你真能狂妄地說:我要幸福!?



 



 

Soliloquist A person alone, entangled in melancholy, can speak to no one but must suffer by himself. Perhaps, only while one is relieving oneself in a most private space, like toilet, can one truly express real emotions. Between the pull of the imaginary and the real, a wall around the heart was built unintentionally. Within, it is a world of no choice, loneliness and self-righteous romanticism. On the outside exist nonchalance, agitation, and an untruthful monologue. In this melancholy world, who can really speak their heart? That Night The idea of That Night comes from Marsha Norman's “'night, Mother"", the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1983. This play is about a mother and her daughter Jessie, who calmly states that she will commit suicide that very evening. Having lived with epilepsy, excessive drinking, and other aspects of an unpleasant life, Jessie is determined to end it all and her mother's attempts at dissuading her through sentiment and analysis are futile. Although the play revolves around the issue of suicide, the main choreography is focused on the encompassing concept of “decision."" Each stage of life is composed of different decisions. The decision made during one night or fifteen minutes may affect one's self and the people around. Outstanding theater actress Hsu Yen-Ling lends her voice to this piece. Her soliloquy runs throughout the piece with both internal and explosive powers on different levels. The dance movements run parallel to the content of the soliloquy. However, it is expected that the merging of choreography structure and language can trigger the common affections among people, encouraging them to view their own questions in stages of life, and to face questions in a positive way. A special thanks to consultants Hsu Yen-Ling, Wu Yi-Fang, Cheng Tsung-Lung and Wang Jia-Ming, as well as Chen Chang-Chih, Lin Yan-Teng, Teng Yung-Hsin, Chen Yi-Chun, Chan Hua-Wi, Chen Yi-En, Tung I-Fen and Lee Tsung-Hsin. Happiness The happy are not necessarily blessed; nor is it guaranteed that the blessed will always be happy. The decision that leads to blessedness varies from moment to moment-it is never certain whether it is true blessedness one embraces, or another illusive moment of happiness. In the midst of all this madness, can you be certain of the blessedness you seek?
