初來乍到，呱呱墜地，一個新生命的誕生如同一個全新宇宙的生成。八位獨特的演員攜手演繹這部歷經四百多年來，多種形式詮釋的經典劇作《哈姆雷特》。當「生存還是毀滅？」（To be, or not to be.）這句歷久彌新的臺詞，在這些演員之間迸發時，會激起什麼樣的火花？
編導切拉・德・法拉利（Chela De Ferrari）苦尋扮演哈姆雷特的最佳人選，直到遇見劇場前臺工作的海梅・克魯茲（Jaime Cruz），一名唐氏症患者，夢想成為演員。法拉利將這個重任交給海梅與他的七位夥伴，從臺下走向臺上，把他們的真實生活經驗注入角色，展現獨一無二的《嗨姆雷特》。
這部作品在不斷的排練中生成，演員們以自然的反應和真實的情感，將角色與自我融合。每一次登臺，都是一場情感的淬鍊。他們透過毫不扭捏地的親密接觸，被拒絕在外的挫折，透過秘魯搖滾憤慨有力的怒吼與流行舞曲的坦率情感輸出，這些未經修飾的純粹，向世界宣告他們的恐懼與夢想，無所保留地展現內心深處最渴望的聲音。
The birth of a new life is like the birth of a new universe. “To be or not to be?” This classic line by William Shakespeare is reinterpreted by eight unique actors in a presentation of the amazing resilience of life.
Hamlet is a classic work that explores and questions “existence.” The original premise of seeking revenge for a father is combined with the life experiences of a group of actors with Down syndrome. They reflect on invisible shackles formed by the ignorance and prejudice of others. These actors break through the fourth wall, asking questions of themselves and interacting with the audience. Sometimes they are humorous and witty and sometimes they reveal their true feelings, presenting the dilemma of existing in a pure and not overly packaged way. They declare their fears and dreams to the world and, without reservation, give voice to desires that dwell deep inside the heart.
