普雷特涅夫是一位獨特的音樂家，他的名字在鋼琴演奏、指揮和作曲領域都享有聞名。然而，無論他的音樂生涯如何多變，「鋼琴家」始終是他最令人瞪目的身分之一。這位曾在一九七八年贏得柴科夫斯基鋼琴大賽金牌的音樂家，以其獨特的詮釋觀點、豐富的音色變化以及對音樂細節的極致追求，成為當今樂壇不可無視的傳奇人物。一九八六年，回到俄羅斯的鋼琴大師霍洛維茲（Vladimir Horowitz）聽過二十九歲的普雷特涅夫演奏後，向媒體表示「你們已經有一位非常優秀的鋼琴家，不需要我再回來了」。

Mikhail Pletnev is a unique musician whose name is renowned in the fields of piano performance, conducting, and composition. Yet, despite his diverse musical career, he is most celebrated as a pianist. Since winning the Gold Medal at the 1978 Tchaikovsky Piano Competition, Pletnev has captivated audiences with his distinctive interpretative approach, rich tonal palette, and meticulous attention to musical detail, making him an undeniable legend in the contemporary music world.
