2009台灣國際藝術節：春之祭

擔綱開幕的是兩廳院旗艦製作，美國劇場大師羅伯‧威爾森與台灣京劇名角魏海敏跨國合作《歐蘭朵》大提琴家瑪雅‧頁瑟《明白世界》、奧地利媒體藝術家克勞斯‧歐伯梅耶的科技版《春之祭》、義大利 TPO 視覺劇場《魔毯上的秘密花園》、加拿大的 lemieux‧pilon 4d art 劇團《諾曼》、作曲家菲利普‧格拉斯與詩人歌手李歐納‧柯恩、合作的《渴望之書》，將科技與表演藝術充分融合，讓觀眾體驗數位時代真實早日虛擬的多重想像。此外，西班牙國家現代舞團編舞家納丘‧杜亞托的《慾望之翼》，舞出激情、狂喜和騷動；歷史悠久的馬林斯基劇院芭蕾舞團暨交響樂團，以百人陣仗，詮釋柴科夫斯基不朽芭蕾舞劇經典。
The festival opens with NTCH's flagship production, Orlando, an international collaboration work by Robert Wilson, starring Taiwan's Beijing opera diva Hai-Ming Wei. Other programmes include cellist Maya Beiser's World to Come, Le Sacred u Printemps, a high-tech integrated work by the Austrian media artist Klaus Obermaier, 1he Japanese Garden by Compagnia T.P.O., a visual theatre company from Italy, Norman,a tribute to Norman McLaren by Canada's lemieux.pilon 4d art, and Philip Glass' Book of Longing, based on the poetry of Leonard Cohen, all of which have technological aspects fully incorporated into the art and the performances, alluring the audience to experience the multiple-faceted imaginations of the real as well as the virtual in a digital era. In addition, choreographer Nacho Duato with Compania Nacionale de Danza brings us the dance of passion, ecstasy and disquietude, Alas, while the long-established Ballet Company & Orchestra of Mariinsky Theatre flies in Taiwan with a team of over one hundred people to present us the timeless ballet classics by T chaikovsky.
